"Friendly staff, lovely lodge and location"

"Excellent hotel perfectly located. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The room was quite spacious and the bed comfortable. No disturbances from outside noises. I was a bit taken aback by the bathroom layout but that didn’t takes away from the comfort of the room. I was able to park around the corner from the hotel and assumed it was free public parking but can’t say for sure. I didn’t get a ticket"

"A living piece of history and what a fabulous experience to be able to stay and be part of history. For anyone exploring WW1 history this is a must - you are staying in part of it. The hotel is run by wardens who are so accommodating. Long may this run so others can experience this very touching part of history"

"Het personeel was super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De kamers kunnen wel beter. Onder beide bedden (2 kamers) lag heel veel stof en in 1 kamer lag op de grond een gebruikte zakdoek. Ook de schimmel tussen de badkamertegels is een beetje jammer. "

"Everything was alright except that they make you pay for parking. It's a hotel next to motorway not in a city centre and it is a whopping 10 euros. Keep that in mind when looking for a cheap place."

"The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful, which was definitely the highlight of our stay. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended. The bathrooms and toilets are very old and look quite tired. The shower curtain was visibly dirty along the bottom edge, which wasn’t pleasant to see. "I can’t say good things about Martin’s Brugge! The staff was absolutely lovely. Hotel was very clean and it was nice to have the bar available. There is no coffee in the rooms, but if you ask the front desk, they will give you a tea kettle to use. There is coffee available for purchase downstairs. The location is perfect very quiet yet central to everything. Highly recommend staying here!"
