Space Hotel is a Rip Off joint DO NOT STAY HERE

The Hotel.com web advert for the Hotel is materially incomplete. After you have paid, you get a 1.5 page complex Message imposing Check In by Phone and an App as mandatory. It's illegal to impose mandatory extra conditions after paying. Also, even though the room is paid in full before arrival they add an additional "Reservation Hold" of $150 euro on your Card, and after you leave the say to "contact your bank to cancel it". They Staff are rude and unprofessional DO NOT STAY HERE. The Hotel.com Spt Staff do nothing when advised, very poor Customer Service and unprofessional.

Verschenkte Möglichkeiten

Eigentlich sehr löbliche Grundidee, dem Verein durch Zimmervermietung zusätzliche Einnahmen zu verschaffen, aber durch sehr strenge Vorgaben (ich habe alle eingehalten), null sonst übliche Hotel- oder Hostelservices und bei kritischen Bewertungen Kommentare des "Vorsitzenden" sehr arg von oben herab gibt es für den gleichen oder günstigeren Preis bessere Alternativen. Die Zwangsabgabe von 3,00 Euro vor Ort war auf hotels.com nicht angegeben. Außerdem gab es nicht das angegebene Kabelfernsehen, sondern Freenet TV, was kein Problem wäre, wenn da die Gebühren für Privatsender gezahlt worden wären, so aber gab es kein RTL, SAT1, PRO7, etc. und die öffentlich-rechtlichen Programme musste man zwischen den vielen gesperrten Kanälen sehr langwierig suchen. Dass ein natürlich nicht vorhandener Kamin als Zimmerausstattung auf hotels.com angepriesen wurde, ist dagegen schon eher wieder lustig.

Guter, preiswerter und Aufenthalt!

Der Aufenthalt war genauso, wie beschrieben! Ich hatte ein EZ, es war zwar etwas klein, aber voll zweckmäßig und preiswert. Die Betreuung durch die Verwaltung und der Service waren excellent, gut durchorganisiert und äußerst zuvorkommend und freundlich - alles in allem sehr zufrieden - danke für die nette Betreuung!

Good value accommodation

Good value accommodation. Single room with sink was clean and functional. Shared bathroom with shower was regularly checked and cleaned well. I arrived at 16:00 and had no problems checking in.

Frühstücksbuffet im Flyer angezeigt, aber nur am Wochenende erhältlich - keinerlei Info dazu, Hausvater verwehrte mir als Behinderter die Hilfe, wollte mich des Hauses verweisen, da ich aus gesundheitlichen Gründen um Einlass via Haupteingang außerhalb 16-19:00 Uhr bat, wollte mich mit tätlichem Körpereinsatz aus dem Haus werfen (Hämatome an beiden Oberarmen), seiner Frau habe ich zu verdanken, dass nicht Schlimmeres passierte (bremste verbal und mit Körpereinsatz ihren gegen mich wütenden Mann, herzlichsten Dank dafür!!!), er beschimpfte mich als Simulantin, obwohl ich physisch und psychisch zusammenbrach, keinerlei Beschilderung des Hintereingangs, weshalb ich ihn übersah (in der Durchfahrt hatte der Durchgang Bauzauncharakter, weshalb ich ihn nicht als offiziellen Durchgang wahrnahm), umweltfreundliche Konzept sehr interessant und sinnvoll

Hostel in edgy location

This is a hostel in a part of Leipzig that I wouldnt choose to stay in again. The check in time is very limited, 4pm to 7pm, there are no staff evident outside this time. Access to the hostel is through a dark alleyway and a locked gate and rear door to the property outside of these hours. The location is on a very run down street of mainly boarded up shops. The staff were pleasant and the room was clean but as a solo female traveller I would not stay here again.

Restare senza alloggio

Ho prenotato sono arrivato alle 19,45 vi era qualcuno alla reception aveva chiuso non ci ha dato modo di entrare. Rimasti senza hotel ho dovuto cercare altro e finalmente dopo due ore trovato hotel nostre esigenze veramente deluso ed arrabbiato, comportamento non professionale.

Ужасное место. Район - захолустье, с забросали и трущобами. Слышимость номеров высокая (слышно как храпят соседи и их каждый шаг), если окна на улицу-то ещё и каждый трамвай как землетрясение, в номерах много пыли (особенно на лампах). Отдельная история это заселение, крайне неудобное время, так ещё не факт что в 16-00 рвно вам откроют (к нам опаздали) , вещи оставленные в предбаннике до заселения (не только наши, а всех гостей) просто выкинули на улицу!!!! Ещё и странная система оплаты. Вообщем, если хотите отдохнуть, а не тратить время и нервы ищите другой отель. Соотношение цена-качество ниже некуда!!

Check-In war effizient, das Personal war freundlich. Das Zimmer war zweckmäßig eingerichtet, leider roch es unangenehm und es war nicht sehr sauber. Die Wände sind sehr dünn und ich wurde nachts mehrfach wach von anderen Gästen, die in ihre Zimmer gingen oder diese verließen. Das Wlan funktionierte sehr gut und der Weg zur nächsten Tram-Haltestelle ist kurz.

ITS A FRAUD!!

Do not choose this hotel because it’s not even a hotel its a college campus we’re they rent the students dorms. It has a very strict check in time (16:00-19:00) and We didn’t knew, when we got there and find out we called and text the hotel “manager” to see if he could help us to get in. Even though he new we were in front of the hotel door or “reception” he said if we couldn’t check in that night our reservation of the two nights were going to be canceled. What pissed us more was that he knew we were there and he didn’t send us the password to open the safe box where supposedly our keys were.

"space-ige" Übernachtung für guten Zweck

Wer abseits der Hotel-Ketten eine Alternative sucht, ist hier gut aufgehoben. Das Hotel ist nicht perfekt, hat aber einen eigenen Charme.
