Great stay. Very warm welcome from receptionist. Hotel was spotless in lovely location beside the river Barrow. Food was delish. Highly recommend.

The charm and warm feel of this hotel is unbeatable. The staff here treats you like family. The breakfast and bar is phenomenal! Will definitely stay here again next trip to Kilkenny

From the loading bay in front of the property, it’s a step over the pavement to the bar, where there was a welcome and an efficient introduction to the building. Access is easy with a key fob. Black Castle is just one of the places to see in Leighlinbridge, so why not enjoy the other things to explore during your travels? Visit the spas and lively bars in this family-friendly area.
If travelling by public transfer, you’ll have a good 10 minute walk to the hotel. Ask any of the local people the directions and they are more than happy to help with directions. Lovely little town with beautiful scenery and lovely people.
