Originally booked in at the Adagio Aparthotel but a long term group booking meant my room was no longer available. This was handled well though as they notified me in advance and transferred me to Novotel at same rate with breakfast included. The Novotel was in top condition and very comfortable room and bed. Very odd basin choice as no way to fill it as a modern design with no plug (maybe I'm old fashioned). Only minor quibble is comms and info available about restaurant times for breakfast. Wasn't informed on arrival, and no information in room or on the tv which has limited information. I had to ask but wasn't told the timings were different for weekdays. I nearly skipped breakfast on Monday as had an early train, it was only by asking I found out they open earlier.

Lovely clean and comfortable. Only issues I had was no proper oven, and the “sofa bed” came down on top of me while I was sitting on the sofa!!

The hotel is beautiful and felt quite grand compared to others i have stayed in. The room was large and all i could have needed was provided e.g. a hair dryer, iron and ironing board and the little kitchen also was fully stocked. I actually made myself a home cooked curry for dinner which was nice. It was a neat and clean room, however, the floor throughout seemed to be covered in wood dust which seemed a little odd but overall, I would definitely stay here again.
