"This is the second time I stay here and it was equally disappointing as the first time. While the grounds are beautiful, the overall property is long overdue for a makeover. The carpets throughout are worn and dirty, and the amenities are extremely lacking. Won't stay again."

"Everything was great. Breakfast was good. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recomend and would definitely stay again. Everything you could possibly need is within 10 min drive. Very convenient."

"Our first room 128 was nicely clean but the blinds were damaged and does not provided privacy to the room. We went to front desk and immediately our room was changed. Unfortunately the room was not properly cleaned. One of the issues was the toilet seat with hairs. The shower with loose parts. Carpet dirty."

Lower temperature in bathroom, too cold to shower, not stocked. Inn was not full so rooms located in main building without additional steps were available. Poor move on front desk clerk. Restaurant was beautiful but poorly managed and staffed. Not recommended for disabled persons. We also...

"Great stay in the Guest House for our family while visiting student at Denison. Wonderful screened in porch and backyard. Highly recommend for any short or long term stay in Granville."

"I had a very nice stay at The Buxton and Mark was the kindest person to work with as he supported my reservation. Very comfortable bed, and the breakfast was delicious and to order. I look forward to them opening a full restaurant and bar. Unfortunately, I did not encounter and ghost, maybe next time! Kathy F"

One of the pillows was in the garbage the floors haven’t been clean since forever and the smell of urine was strong I had to prop open the door for the entire 20 minutes my friend and I were there before returning the keys and leaving to a different hotel. Paying a low amount of a hotel I was expecting much but the dirt and smell was unbelievable. Be smarter than me and just spend a the extra money on a better hotel. The...
