"We had a two night stay here in May. Firstly I’d like to say that the staff were superb especially Lucy who seemed to be there every second of every day looking after us checking in, out, breakfast and dinner. Thank you so much. The rooms were clean and the beds were big snd very comfortable. Excellent location in a lovejy area with shops a 2 minute walk away and the station 5 mins away to get into central Manchester. Overall a really nice stay in a nice clean hotel."

"The room was very nice, spacious, well decorated and there were nice touches such as the robes, the radio being on when you arrive and the little sleep kit with the eye mask and earplugs. The staff were super friendly and the food at the restaurant was delicious "

"The room was clean, well furnished and had a cozy feel. We would stay here again, however, there were some minor issues. The toilet flush ran continuously and was audible at night. The cover over the shower plughole was broken and the lead on the kettle was too short and had to be used on the floor. Also the mattress was too firm for us."

"Hotel is right in the heart of Buxton, a convenient walk from the station. It was absolutely buzzing the whole time we were there - bands both nights, live sport in the day, but with the rooms being in a separate building out the back of the pub, it was amazingly quiet after the yard had been emptied. Clean throughout, staff were friendly."

"Fantastisk koselig hotell/pub i en enda mer fantastisk typisk engelsk landsby. Knutsford er ett lite sted med masse flotte butikker og spisesteder i landlige erkeengelske omgivelser. Cross Key Hotel passer utmerket inn i bildet og er ett hotell/pub med sjarm og høy standard på rom, dog kan selvfølgelig noe pusses på og en Beer Garden sommerstid var flott å sitte ute på. God frokost og typisk pubmat forøvrig med meget velutstyrte rom. Kommer igjen !"

"We came here as I’m sure many do as a base for our Alton Towers adventures. The accommodation is basic but perfectly suited for this. After all we just needed a comfortable place for our family of four (inc. teenagers) to rest, wash and eat breakfast. Service was friendly and efficient. "A nice stay but could have been excellent with a bit more attention to detail. Could have done with a vacuum. Shower gel hasn’t been replenished and pillows weren’t great (not much to them). Great location for bars, restaurants and shops. Easy online check in with key codes entry (can’t generally get in early as it’s unmanned and doors don’t release until 3pm) - guy cleaning did let us in at 2:30pm though which was kind and appreciated. Parking is a pain (not owners fault) car park next door...

"Lovely cottage, I was unsure when booking as there wasn’t photos of all the rooms, however they were all great. The location was perfect, right by The Roaches, great for walks from the door step and close by to other amazing locations in the Peak District. Being so close to the tea rooms was convenient for lunch, and we were near enough to the town of Leek for shops for supplies. Comfortable beds, and the whole place was clean and tidy. Leaving cakes for us was a lovely touch. Thanks for a great...

"I recently stayed at The Stay Company for nearly a month, and it was an excellent experience. The location was fantastic, very safe, with a park just steps away and convenience stores nearby. The communication with the hosts was always excellent, and they were supportive throughout my stay. The apartment was wonderful, and I had everything I needed. Overall, it's a fantastic place, and I look forward to returning soon!"
