Beautiful view of jungfrau and the surrounding valley! The steam room and sauna were used each night and functioned very well. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were helpful and pleasant. I would definitely stay here again!

We had the most incredible stay here! The staff were wonderful and so friendly. The location is unreal and super convenient (train station just 2 minutes downhill!) I highly recommend to book a a MOUNTAIN VIEW room. We stayed on the 6th floor and our balcony view was magical! Definitely would stay here again!

The views were phenomenal from our balcony as well as most everywhere else on the property. It’s an older grand hotel with some age showing but still a very nice property. The room was very nice though needing some cosmetic updates. We had breakfast each morning and dinner one night and all of those were excellent. The hotel is uphill from the station and the hotel’s service of meeting us at the station to transport our luggage was much appreciated. Front desk and restaurant staff were all very helpful and attentive.

This hotel was lovely. We had a spacious room with two balconies facing Jungfrau mountain. We could sleep with the balcony doors open for fresh cool mountain air and a great view in August. We did not get bit by insects. The bathtub is phenomenal, long and deeper than mine at home in California. The staff were simply wonderful and helpful. Included breakfast was great. Garden was delightful. I will absolutely stay here again when visiting the Swiss Alps.

clean and comfortable room. all rooms has mountain view. Jungfran can be seen at front garden. great breakfast. however, the building is a bit old. Our room was located at the top floor, which is the attic. elevator only goes to level 5, we had to carry luggage and use stairs. also, minding the low ceiling that may bump head.

I would be happy even if I was in a barn, just to have that view from my window. Luckily this hotel is NOT a barn. A little dated in parts but I like that sort of thing as it adds to its charm and keeps it unique. I don’t want a homogenised experience anyway. Breakfast was good and served in a room that harks back to its undoubted splendour when it was first built and its clientele were a bit more upmarket as Wengen would have been at that time. Loved it and would definitely recommend a stay there.

I really enjoyed our stay. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The best part is we arrived earlier then check-in (among many other travellers) and they allowed us to keep our luggage at the hotel until our room was ready, allowing us to explore Wengen luggage free. They even did the same at check-out, could leave our luggage. The breakfast was also delicious and I highly suggest paying the extra to have it included in your stay!
