"Provided breakfast was convenient"

"The best thing about this hotel is the breakfast and the wonderful breakfast staff, they are a credit to the hotel and probably bring a lot of custom to the present day Chateau a shadow of its former self. Room was not particularly clean, bedding had a string bleach odor. The hallway carpeting by the elevators and ice room was filthy."

"The staff were amazing. Especially the gentleman on the 3-11 shift. We had my 86 year old father with us and they made sure he had a ground floor room close to front desk. Very helpful. He went over and above. Didn’t get his name but thank you"

"Excellent breakfast. Hotel clean but getting dated."

"Quick and easy check in, rooms we’re impressive and breakfast was spot on, location was perfect"

"Fabulous stay"

"Nice cozy place for a night spend."

"The room was beautifully appointed in the heritage style. It featured a full kitchen and an air tub in the bathroom. There were towels folded into bird and fan shapes. The property has complimentary laundry on each floor and is conveniently located near the waterfront. There is a parkade across the street."

"Bad smell, uncomfortable bed, dirty, fire hazard with wires and patch up plumbing for the shower. The microwave didn’t work because the breaker tripped. The carpet at the entrance dirty and the door wasn’t painted either."

"The Regent is an excellent budget-friendly old fashioned motel— each individual room is on the ground floor and has a parking space in front. It is clean and has everything you need — a comfortable bed, a TV, free internet, a tub/shower, a refrigerator and a microwave. The furnishings are basic and the bathroom is small, but the cost was at least $100.00 less than the other, more modern chain motels for the night we stayed."
