House is wonderful and very peaceful.
Bedroom was large with very comfy bed and the bathroom was awesome. Underfoot heating so showering was excellent.
Once the light went out you couldn’t see you hand in front of your face.
Perfect nights sleep on both nights and full use of kitchen when required.

"Nice mid-range hotel with excellent spa (best treatments we’ve had, at very fair price, though no pool). Excellent dinner in restaurant & good breakfast. Our room was on 3rd floor and, being an old building, there’s no lift. Room was ok, though a ‘standard’ double, not a queen / king. There’s no air-con, but a good floor standing fan. Good sized bathroom with large shower. We will certainly return here as the spa & food are so good. "
"I stayed for one night whilst travelling for a mixture of business and pleasure. It had been a long hot day so it was a pleasure to step into the cool of this lovely old inn. The welcome was warm and friendly and in fact I think the friendliness of the staff is my standout reason to stay. The room was simply furnished but spacious and comfortable and importantly cool with a fan provided. I ate dinner and breakfast there both were tasty and served with a smile and friendly chat. "Excellent value stay, much better than one of the bigger chains at this price point.
The rooms were spacious and clean, our only frustrations were the car park flood lights which shone into the bedroom through the night, and then the early morning food delivery that was unloaded just outside the bedrooms. But I think we were just unlucky on both.
The staff were really friendly and the breakfast included in our rate was first class. Will definitely stay again "
