"Mixed vibes from the staff, they were very friendly during break and when we checked out, however, upon our arrival, the guy at the reception was far from being friendly.... The rooms themselves could use a good refurbishment.... The wood had holes in it from a long decay plus there were strains everywhere. Breakfast is a bit odd as well, they will make an omelette or a nice cup of cappuccino for you, but you have to ask and sometimes no one is present near the relevant stations"

"The Best Western Plus Larco Hotel is overrated. It's outside the city center (30 to 40 minutes on foot), the rooms are tiny and certainly not what you would expect of a hotel that is rated 4 stars, the breakfast is ordinary and repetitive. They also have a nickel and dime attitude that is deplorable. As an example, they give you one litre of water the first day that you arrive, but want you to pay for it starting on the second day. Considering the cost of the tiny hotel room, that's nothing...

"We had an excellent seaview room with a huge balcony. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, but the cooked breakfast items were not hot as I like it. Good Illy coffee. A bit short on milk in rooms. There is building work in the streets around, and Google maps had difficulty getting around the works. No Uber & Bolt was a long wait. Hotel cabs were better. "

"Fresh towels every day, water ,coffee & tea. Friendly staff. The only bad thing to say was the last 3 days of 10 they had about 6 or 7 families come in with totally feral kids, shouting and screaming in the common areas and nobody there to shut them up."

"I was quickly checked into my double room on the third floor, which didn't have a terrace but a small window in the bedroom, the airconditioner could only be turned on by the reception and you had to call them by dialling '0' from your room. There was no bathtub and only a shower cubicle, there was a small window in shower room. The TV which was small, only had a few channels and the signal strength was very bad and no English speaking channels. No safe in the room but it did have a wardrobe...
