A short walk about 10 mins downhill takes you into the heart of this beautiful city, a slower slightly uphill walk back. Recommend parking in the private off road bays where it is flatter. A...

"Perfect for a city break. The rooms and communal areas are clean and modern. Breakfast is fresh and there's lots of choice. Some people said there is no bacon at breakfast, but that's incorrect – as of October 2025, there *is* bacon at breakfast. Location is excellent, just a short walk from the train station and city centre. The only thing that lets it down is the lack of car parking, but that's due to its central location so can't do much about that! I used JustPark to get parking nearby."
