"THIS IS THE FIRST TIME WE STAYED IN THE BEST WESTERN AND ON CHECK- IN THE FRONT DESK STAFF WAS VERY RUDE AND UNHELPFUL (MISS DESIREE) . WHEN BOOKING THROUGH EXPEDIA WE WERE NOT AWARE OF THE $100.00 DOLARS DEPOSIT HOLD BACK . MISS DISEREE (F/DESK ) SAID THE HOTEL WILL HOLD $100.00 DOLLARS DEPOSIT AND ON CHECK OUT SHE WILL REFUND THE DEPOSIT AND ON CHECK OUT ON JUNE 3 2026 SHE WAS AT THE FRONT DESK AND SHE CHANGED HER STATEMENT SAYING THE DEPOSIT WILL BE REFUNDED IN 5 DAYS . I SIGHNED THE DEPOSIT PAPER AND REQUESTED FOR THE COPY AND SHE REFUSED SAYING ITS A HOTEL POLICY NOT TO GIVE THE PAPER . WE ARRIVED HALF AN HOUR EARLY AND REQUESTED IFWE COULD CHECK IN ,SHE SAID WE HAD TO PAY EXTRA $25.00 DOLLARS . I TOLD HER WE WERE ATTENDING A FUNERAL AND REQUESTED BOTH ROOMS ON THE SAME FLOOR WHEN WE COME BACK IN HALF AN HOUR BUT THE ROOMS WERE GIVEN ON DEFERENT FLOORS 3RD AND 4TH .ON THE 4TH FLOOR IT WAS VERY NOISY , OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS COULDN'T SLEEP . HOPE TO GET FULL DEPOSIT REFUND ASAP AND A WRITTEN REPLY FROM YOU WILL BE APPRECIATED . ''CUSTOMER ''"

"Clean place and helpful staff, although the area is not great the security gate seems to do its job and there's less of the city element at this end of town. Jack in the Box, Crispy Cream and iHop not too far away, good deal for the money, I would stay again."

"We were suprised to find it and all was good. The desk clerk even walked over to our room to help us find a small light switch. This is an upgrade from Motel 6. Just the basics plus small kitchen. Worked for one night for us."

"The room was clean and it was located in a convenient location with easy access to Deception Pass/Anacortes, Oak Harnor downtown & Coupeville and other southern towns. It is on the main street with a big wind mill, giving a Dutch country side feeling. It is run by a family, staff were courteous, The simple English breakfast spread was very helpful."

"It is often about location. I needed to be near teh boatyard and Boat Haven but walking distance from downtown. This hotel fit the bill at a decent price. They were kind enough to give ma an upgraded room with a view., which was excellent, but the way. I will likely stay here again in teh near future."
