"Room clean and adequate size. Would have been nice to have a fridge but we were given fresh water. Although there is no air on, they do provide a floor fan.
Evening meal was delicious, as was the wine.
English breakfast was ok - I couldn’t eat the sausages as it was very over seasoned with white pepper, so I didn’t enjoy it, but hubby who loves pepper was happy to eat mine.
Check in and out was very easy.
Annoyingly because we hadn’t booked direct with the hotel we where charged £12 parking."

"Perfect location, a minute from the castle, easy walking distance to the train station, cross the street to be on the high street and the town center.
All ideal and the place itself was easy to access with the code provided and it was our first time staying in a place without a front desk. I cannot think of anywhere else I’d stay while visiting Lancaster again."
