"We stayed here for 4 nights in April 2023.The room was nice and spacious with a lovely big comfy bed and mini fridge in the cupboard. We had a problem with our hot water for a couple of nights but this was fixed after mentioning to reception. The setting of the hotel is nice with immaculate gardens but A LOT of steps to get anywhere. Our room was about halfway to the restaurant and was 116 steps down from reception! "The grounds of the hotel are the highlight - beautiful views, gardens and drinking/dining areas both inside and outside. The food is very good and the prices are reasonable. Customer service is excellent. Minor negative points are that the wifi is a bit hit and miss at times which can be problematic for business travellers, and there was a lot of construction noise near to our rooms, which started early and finished late. Not the end of the world, but bring earplugs. "
