"This is a beautifully restored property, done in an early 20th-century style, that made us feel like the developers understood what weary travelers need to feel cared for. In addition to the plush, firm but well-padded king-sized bed with an abundance of pillows, the suite featured a kitchenette with high-quality dishware, sink, and microwave; a living room with loveseat, desk, and TV; an additional alcove with a sofabed; multiple closets; and (best of all) a luxurious bathroom with two sinks, adequate shelving, a padded bench, high quality shower over tub (with hinged glass door), and separate water closet. The decorative touches completed the experience, including a period chandelier over the bed."

"Mount Shasta Resort was a wonderful experience for us all around. Our one bedroom lake view cabin was clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the lake. Each morning, I was able to sit on the deck and look out onto the amazing view and appreciate the peace and beauty of nature. We will definitely return!"

"I have stayed here many times and it's always been excellent. quiet, comfortable, a reasonable breakfast, and a good value. however, i've always stayed on the side facing the mountain. this time my room faced the highway. the room is well insulated for sound, but still some comes through. I was able to sleep, but not as soundly. always ask for a room facing the mountain."

"Room was immaculate and well appointed. Fixtures and furnishings are modern. Comfortable bed, climate control was great. Check in and check out were easy/completed by phone/browser. Room was quiet and comfy. Lots of young families and solo travelers like me. Only thing I heard was the train horn. :) Highly recommended. I’ll be back in the fall when I come through to fish again!"

"I don’t usually give more than three stars for hotels unless there was something unusual about them for the price. I am used to staying in relatively cheap hotels and this one fits the bill for price. The rooms, were above average. It was huge with a table a couple chairs and the desk. The people at the front were super nice and the breakfast was great! Don’t expect gourmet, but it was the usual breakfast that comes with an inexpensive hotel. There were some eggs, sausage, bacon, waffles, and assorted fruits and bakery stuff."
