I’ve never given a poor review before but felt this experience warranted it. At check-in, the desk area was disorganized with room keys and reservation slips (literally) all over the counter, it made me question the security of my information. There were future reservations tacked to the wall for anyone to see. The man behind the counter barely spoke to me. We were in the area for work, had three rooms and checked-in in the evening, and two of the rooms hadn’t been cleaned. The bed had been slept in and the bathroom was dirty. We were given a new room, which was fine, though it smelled slightly of dog waste. After showering, the towels didn’t dry you off. I don’t know if it was all the water softener salt or the type of towel, but it was more like a squeegee than a towel. In the morning, we went to check out the breakfast, there was a family there - the woman called the front desk to ask about breakfast and the man (the same one who checked us in) told her to “just turn it on” (the waffle maker and coffee maker). She tried but couldn’t figure out the self contained coffee maker. Overall, an awful experience (but Lake Mills is nice!)

Could not understand any of the employees when they spook because of the strong accent. I don't consider a waffle and juice, breakfast. (Nothing Else) The people running the place should not leave the childrens bike in front of the exits.

Well it was nice that the location was good. I was not happy that when I arrived my room was still dirty. So I had to wait for it to be cleaned. I really think that it was not cleaned really well. I don’t think I will stay there again.

Amazing water pressure
Hotel Staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the Suite with a king size bed, queen size bed, a futon, and a hot tub. We didn’t get to use the hot tub, but the shower had amazing water pressure and was really warm. Room was very large. Obviously a little bit of an older hotel, but overall very clean.

This place needs a major renovation!!! Dirty walls that aren’t cleaned and need painting; dust on the lampshades and crude on the furniture by the bed; telephone the dirtiest thing i’ve ever seen!!Bathroom tub fixtures are all rusted out and the sink area has splashes of toothpaste (?) or whatever on the walls; the coffee area in the room has coffee splashed all over the wall also. no breakfast as stated on line!

DIRTY! Looked like it had been updated but needed badly cleaned! Our sheets were wrinkly and looked unwashed. Could see black handprints on the bed covers under the sheets. Looked like a shoe print on the top sheet along with dust/dirt/hair on them. Top covers had dirt and hair and also looked unwashed. Walls needed wiped down. Hairs on the floor. Air Conditioner reeked of mildew. Only good thing was there were no bugs and the mattress was nice and soft.

My room was dirty and smelled like smoke. Floor was extremely dirty and full of food crumbs. Could not close bathroom door because it came in contact with toilet. Entire hotel was overall dirty and rundown.

Dirty
The staff was friendly. They were doing some renovations so halls were full of furniture etc, but no big deal. However, the furniture was stained, my towel was stained, the carpet had a stain that didn't look as though anyone had tried to remove it. Shower curtain had a line of mold. Day one breakfast was not out more than an hour after it should have been. Day 2 was pathetic. Waffles, fruit and saltines.

Rooms are very clean and updated. Pool area is small but nice. The doors to the building could be cleaned very dirty. Very friendly and courteous staff. Small continental breakfast but good. Price was good.

Upon entrance into the room, it smelled terrible. Small sofa and desk chairs were stained. There were no other accommodations available, so we stayed. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and both myself and spouse did not sleep well. We could hear people/kids running up and down the hall most of the night. It sounded as if the people above us were jumping off the furniture and we thought they might come through the ceiling, they were so loud. We both woke up with terrible backaches, due to the bed. The continental breakfast was a joke and consisted of a banana and/or a box of dry cereal. Coffee was weak.

Ceiling was peeling, plastic bag over smoke alarm, bathroom was dirty (not swept behind the door, dirty towels hanging behind the door), stairs had dirt and dried mud going to 2nd floor, extremely limited breakfast, etc. Didn't feel comfortable, we didn't even want to take our shoes off. Staff was ok.

They had nothing on the site about the poool being closed and being redone. Which made the hotel smell strong of gasoline for the paint for the pool. The service was great, just a bummer about the pool

Affordable friendly and comfortable
My stay was very nice. Very clean/up to date business. Room was comfortable.There was a dirty towel hanging from shower head ( no big deal ). The bed mattress was rather hard for my liking. But with that said I do understand that l understand there hotel matters ( they get them in bulk ). Again over all very nice hotel to stay at

The front desk people were extremely kind! Everything was very neat and tidy! The only draw-back was the shower looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for some time. The fabric shower curtain was red from mildew and the whole shower needed a good scrub. I hate to say but when the shower looks that way, a customer questions how clean the room actually is. We did sleep very well and the room was nice and quiet. We chose not to use the shower.

The bathroom was the size of a small closet. The toilet was right inside. You had to shut the door before you could sit down. The bathroom ceiling was peeling.
