We had a great stay in this basic but clean motel. The front desk lady was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Not a fancy place, but the location is quiet and the room was comfortable. Would stay here again.
While this property looks a bit rough on the outside, it was very clean, basic and quiet in the room. Plenty of parking. Staff/owners were very kind and pleasant. Perfect for the basic needs of passing through the area.
This place has all the basics covered! It’s very clean, with good air conditioning, cable TV, internet. The bed was firm, clean, and made up. Check-in was efficient.
This place is charmingly old school. Affordable and clean. The street noise is loud, and it sure sounded like someone was practicing drums at 9 am on Sunday.
Also, the plastic cover on the mattress was…interesting. We’d probably stay here again, good value.
The room was nice, but not convenient. No end tables at bed and not a table to eat on, There were people actually living there also . I didn't like that
To be frank, the place is sketchy, but in the end, I was glad I stayed there. No frills ( to say the least) and not a luxe neighborhood, but clean and decent. Internet was faultless, there are a fridge and microwave, super clean, and the front desk person ( clearly the on-site owner) is very amiable. I stayed there because my husband was in the hospital nearby, and I’d already spent way too much money on hotels. At at least 70 dollars less than the cheapest other option, I think this was a good choice.

Good location near Kingston-Rhinebeck Bridge. Basic accomodations: toilet, shower and sink; "college" refrigerator; large, flat-screen TV; small counter-top microwave; AC; and 2 standard beds (soft mattress, small pillows). Open recessed "closet", no hangers or drawers. Set back from main road (9W). Windows front and rear. Mostly fast food eateries in the area. No food services on site or within walking distance. No noise issues.
The room was very clean. However, the AC would go on and off all night keeping you up. It's by a busy road and you can hear it all. There is no view of any river, nor do you feel like there is any river near by. Outside the back window its a rundown back yard. Outside the front window is parking. The sheets were terrible, mostly polyester, the mattress cover shifting underneath you, the pillows thin and there are no extras of anything in your room. I would never stay here again or recommend.

Don't walk on the tile floor of the room in bare feet! I don't see a way to share a picture, but I noticed after walking around my soles were black. Figured it had to be the floor, so I took a wet towel and rubbed it over one of the tiles. Black dirt showed on the towel. I didn't shower so can't comment on the bathroom, and the bed was clean and comfortable. I showed the proprietor the problem. She was unsympathetic. She argued with me it was dirt tracked in after the last cleaning. No, it was pervasive, every single tile, obviously there for a long time. The floor needed hand scrubbing. Also an alert for mobility-impaired people--the step from the parking lot to the motel sidewalk is HUGE. I can usually manuver without a cane, but had to use one to get up and down this outside step. Also the $50 cash deposit was just weird. Never again.
When booking an older, small motel like this one, a person should never expect too much. I stay ay such places frequently, as i care more about price and location than luxurious accommodations. I use motels to get a few short hours of sleep. I don't have the need for anything more than a bed, honestly. So, when I booked this place, the only real concern I had possibly bedbugs, and maybe the AC wouldn't work. Nothing else would really affect. However, i must say i was pleasantly surprised by my stay here. I was greeted by a very nice couple, whom i wouldn't be surprised to find out were new owners of the establishment. I really think they care about thr place and their customers. Obviously, i did not explore any room but my own, but my room could be considered to be "like new" for the most part. New AC, new fridge, new microwave, new mattresses, new bedframes. You could quite literally smell the "new" in the room. The giant flat screen TV still had the protective plastic film on the edges, and was a bigger TV than i usually have in much more expensive hotels. Now, is the place absolutely flawless? No. It's probably existed since the 1950s, judging by the the old sign by the road. Paris Hilton would not likely be impressed, but any normal person who would book a motel like this one is bound to be impressed by quality of the rooms and the management. I recommend it highly to anyone needing a place in the area.
