"Actually very surprised how much space this had.
It is only a short drive to Wanaka with alot of dining options. We loved our stay, the only negative would be you can't have a sleep in as the sun beams right in when it comes up as you the clear section up the top has no curtains to block out. "
"Nice place but charge for every little thing.
$10 to rent a kitchen package (plates, pots etc.). How bout $$10 refundable deposit. ( A surprise for travelers blowing through…. Where every other stop all was provided).
Cabin was nice but no towels. Showers were $1 increasing to $2.
Won’t come back here. "
"A fantastic two nights at the Lodge. Gabby was the most welcoming host - your smile could brighten any day!
Cosy, comfortable, and peaceful. I felt so relaxed and at home.
Thank you sooooo much!!"
"I book for 1 bedroom apartment that can fit 4 people, We have to pay NZ$ 50 for every extra persons ( which include my 4 year old girl) , have to pay for internet. The room is quite old and in second floor, we have to drag all the luggage up to the apartment. Close to town center , just 50 meters from Lake Wanaka."
"The chalets are so cute and comfortable, and they had the heater running before I checked in so I could be toasty and warm in winter. It's a little rustic but charming and has a view of beautiful stars at night "
"Stayed single room twin bed ensuite.
Private rooms are expensive in Wanaka. By far the first most expensive private room in NZ.
All good with essentials however which the bathroom are equipped with heater.
2 minutes walk to Four Square grocery and lots of eateries.
Only negative issue is bathroom is very cold in private room ensuite as there is no heater as compared to Haka Tekapo which has heater in both room and bathroom.
The detergents are diluted with 10% detergent and 90% water, guess...
