Quality Inn Petoskey

"The hotel was very clean, but it needs some updating. The first room had an odor because the A/C in the room was going bad. The staff was super helpful and switched us to a different room. The other room was better! The only issue it had was the mini fridge didn’t have a freezer (which the first one did-minor inconvenience) and the shower curtain was falling down in the bathroom so it didn’t close properly. The side entry door to the hotel was broken and didn’t close all the way. The continental breakfast had a great selection!! And the all day complimentary waters and coffee are a small amenity that goes a long way!!"

"The ways beds have been lad out after opwning the murphy bed- is not safe. -once opened both there is a very tight space between the two at one of the corners - it caused me a bad injury on my small toe and ripped off half of my nail- Cleaning was supposed to be daily- despite letting the crew know at 12 pm that we are heading out and please try and clean, while we are gone, when we returned at 3:30 the room wasn't cleaned , when I mentioned and complained to the Manager she sounded as if it was our fault that we didn't call the FD. This took me with bit of a shock as daily cleaning was part of the routine. This was a big disappointment. They need to change the layout of their beds or do something else to prevent the injury which is a biggest safety issue."

"The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The pool area and the hot tub were older and really needed updating. The hot tub in the pool area was not working at the time we were there. We also had a room with a jetted bathtub in it that the Jets weren't working in. We arrived on a Saturday night and I told them they weren't working on Monday. Management moved us to a different room. Overall our stay was nice. It would have been nice to have a little bit of breakfast change in the 5 days we stayed there."

"I loved the modern upgrades and aesthetic. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel was conveniently located in walking distance to multiple restaurants, coffee shops, downtown shopping, and views of the lakes. I would stay there again in a heartbeat! Two thumbs up!"

"The room and bathroom were very clean. It was cozy. The bed might need to be updated. It had a squeak that was a little annoying. The woman who took care of the house was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good! I thought it was a good value for the money."

"Steffen, the Host, was absolutely wonderful! His breakfasts were delicious. I had the most peaceful and pleasant stay and I would highly recommend The Charlevoix House. All the shops and beaches were within walking distance. I would also recommend the Mushroom House tour."
