I know it’s an older hotel.. but replace the mattress , pillows,comforters, more thoroughly on washing sheets towels.. if they are dingy replace them 🙄. We bring our on towels and spray the room with Lysol. More thorough on cleaning as well. And keep up with the air unit. Just good to sleep and shower since were at the casino majority of the time

You can judge a book by its cover

This is a motor inn-style motel. Pros: Inexpensive, close to the casino, quiet. Cons: appearance, cleanliness, comfort. Pulling up to the motel will tell you all you need. There is no pretense that this is a diamond in the rough. The woman at the desk wasn’t unfriendly. The room was basic and all amenities were functional. AC was great, water hot, and the bed was unbelievably firm. There were some dead bugs, a couple hairs in the sink, and the bed cover/blanket looks like it doesn’t get laundered regularly. I am not mad or anything , I got what I paid for, nothing more or less. This place gives me an appreciation for well maintained and managed hotels.

My room was adequately cleaned, though a little extra attention would have been nice. Observations: The room was like an oven when I arrived. The AC took a long time to cool the room down. The bars of soap provided were tiny - I mean tiny. Had to kill two crickets in the tub. Holes in the bedspreads. Mattresses and pillows need to be replaced. Towels were see-through and rather dingy. In short, the price point reflects the room. On the plus side, the room was very quiet.

Paying more may be worth it

My sister and I were on a birthday trip to the casino nearby. When we arrived the room was hot because the air was completely off. It was hot while we were changing to go to the casino. Then when we returned late that night, we had no signal on our TV. However the staff that came by the next morning did try and fix it. They did get it fixed while we were gone, so we were glad. They only cleaned our room once and the floors were gritty on our feet. Our trash was overflowing when we left because it was a 3 night stay. The condition of the room was ok, but our security lock had been completely busted so it was useless. The refrigerator froze all of our food. Everything froze solid. It was a peaceful sleep, but not sure if thats enough for me to want to return.
