"Very clean rooms and nice lodge all together. The only thing that I would give negative feedback on was the breakfast. Not a lot of choices and very small area, making it crowded. Overall it was a wonderful place to stay at. I always try to stay at an Ayres hotel whenever I travel."

"We like to get away locally and we had not been to Viejas in a few years. The Resort improvements are amazing. The new and improved Steak House the Grove was excellent from service to food and beverages. Room comfortable with robes and coffee machine! I would highly recommend."

"We had a fun stay at the Julian Lodge. We had to pay $10 to park in their lot or park on the side streets for free. This lodge is clean and has filtered water available to fill your travel bottle with. They have coffee too. We stayed in room 202. It was a nice room. The staff is amazing and so accommodating! This lodge is also walking distance to all of the shops on Main Street! It had a great air conditioner in our room. We loved this place and would totally return! Thank you! We also loved the apple pie at Apple Alley Bakery. So yummy! Also make sure you do the city scavenger hunt at the town hall if you have kiddos! It was so fun! ♥️"

"This place is perfect if you are visiting from out of town for any events! We attended the local Sweat Ceremony held by Southern Indian Health Council only 8 minutes away from the motel. Very small town but has everything you need. The check in process was very simple, and the attendant was sure to assist us with all of our needs. The room was very cozy and had a well working AC and the window scenery was perfect as well! I read some of the past reviews and I am not sure what some of the people are referring to as "creepy". It IS a small rural town and not the big city! I will definitely be staying here again when we come for the future sweat ceremonies! PS Cowboy coffee is ALSO only 8 minutes away and opens up at 6:30am and the coffee and service there is super delightful!"
