"We really enjoyed our stay at the Wyndham Grand Carvoeiro. The hotel was clean, modern, and the staff were lovely. It's walking distance to town, a really great rooftop bar, and a lovely beach restaurant. The only downside was that the hotel's website states that there is an adult pool. However, when there were kids at the pool we were told by staff that it's adult recommended, not adult only, and they were not willing to police it. If having a quiet, adult-only space is important for you as you relax, as it is to us, this may not be your best option."

"Appartement bien situé, nous avons pu découvrir les environs en voiture et faire des soirées au villages et resto à pieds. Piscine propre et pratique avec enfants. Excellent buffet le matin avec beaucoup de choix. Chambre propre et cuisine pratique bien qu’elle n’ait pas de four, qu'une plaque de cuisson. Apportez vos propres serviettes pour la piscine."

"What can I say, the best hotel i have every stayed in! From first meeting reception staff Gizela, who was amazing and so helpful! The hotel met all our needs, from the fabulous choice of breakfast every morning. We felt like we were 5 star guests at all times! Rajid at the breakfast area, ensured that experience. Our rooms were checked daily and beds made up beautifully. Loved my daily swims in indoor pool, all on my own! The night watch man too, he ensured noisy guests were dealt with quickly and immediate. We will be back! *****"

"Das Hotel liegt wunderschön, ist sehr ruhig und der Strand und das Städtchen Ferragudo liegt doch als Fussweg sehr nahe. Das Personal ist freundlich, kann +/- gut englisch. Was mich ein bisschen gestört hat, ist das Personal beim Frühstück. Mehr als einmal musste ich fast um Kaffeetasse und Besteck „kämpfen“. Sie kommen nicht nach mit Tischen neu decken und wollen bereits abräumen obwohl man noch nicht fertig ist. An der Reception wollten sie nicht für uns einen Tisch im Städtchen reservieren, was für mich nicht in Ordnung war. Aber ich würde das Hotel wieder wählen!"
