They need to control lobby noise; it can be heard in the first floor rooms. It was very noisy until midnight on a Friday night.

this was probably the best hotel I've stopped in Lafayette. A better selection of breakfast and certainly better Wi-Fi would stop again.

I absolutely loved my stay. It was super clean and the staff was very friendly. I loved the lemonade they left out for their guests. There was kids staying next to us. The rooms were so insulated we never heard them, day or night. Their breakfast was also really good with a good variety of items to choose from. My fav was the waffles. Their coffee was on point, also! My only complaint is the bathroom door and the hot water. The bathroom door slides shut, but leaves a huge visible crack all the way to the shower. With more than one staying with me, it was awkward. The hot water either got too hot or not hot enough. It kinda burnt me the first shower I had and the next day, it wouldn’t get warm at all so I took a cold shower. Neither one of these were bad enough to shy me away. I’ll definitely be staying there again the next time I’m in that area.

Man oh Man!
Well, 2 of out tires got slashed in the parking lot along with 6 other vehicles. I was very disappointed, to say the least. The hotel manager accommodated us but we are still out an additional $250 dollars due to us having to purchase 2 new tires that totaled $496.

Hi Amy,We are terribly sorry that you experienced this while staying at our hotel. This is not something that has ever happened to our property. The hotel however did compensate for this with refunding both nights of your stay totalling 230.00, awarding you 30,000 hilton honor points costing the hotel 150.00 and paying for the tow truck that cost the hotel 175.00, this totalled a 555.00.We again are terribly sorry this happened and the hotel did compensate for this to eleviate the issue.Thank You,Brian Davis- GM

Overall the place seemed nice and clean. However, there was a roach chilling out on its back in the bathroom. Then my wife saw one crawling across the bedroom floor!!!! Very disturbing.

Nice hotel
The first room we got the neighbors were very loud and must have opened and slammed every drawer and cabinet in the room. We asked to be moved and thankfully they gave us a quieter floor.

Such an efficient room. There's space for everything, lots of counters and plug ins and lights. Could use another chair though. Just teach your staff to be friendly and tell folks about breakfasts... restaurants close by... where the ice is... anything to make us feel welcomed and valued.

PERFECT IN MY OPINION
We were pleasantly surprised by how big our room was and the overall cleanliness of the hotel in general. When we went down for breakfast my husband was so happy with all the choices. I personally love the DIY waffles and with them, coffee and OJ I was set. I love that there was an offering of French Vanilla as well as plain creamer to choose from. If I had a gun out to my head and was told I had to give a suggestion to better my trip I would say a bigger variety of coffee creamers would be fun. I have to rate this hotel a 1000++. From now on when I am booking a trip I will look for a Home2suite by Hilton first. Everything was PERFECT

Perfect for a one night stay to explore the local area - swamp tours and Avery island - if u on a tour has nice swimming pool area to relax , and a free laundry room. There a few restaurants in walking distance- the Mexican one - is excellent- Rooms spacious and very comfortable

It was ok…not sure how good they clean the rooms.
There was a used dirty towel hanging on the shower curtain rod.
Nasty towel seen during my initial room inspection
