We also ate at the restaurant in the hotel the meal was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent.! We definitely will be back again now we are off to New Brunswick.. 😊"

"Excellent location for exploring Lunenburg. This is an older building and establishment. This means more dated room furnishings, but also big room size. No micro suites here. The ocean view was great and staff very helpful. The restaurant below had good breakfast options and reasonable prices."

"The Rose & Thistle is a gorgeous restored 1914 (if I remember correctly) home. It is comfortable, warm, and welcoming. We had a beautiful, spacious room. And it’s a great location to walk into town. Breakfast’s were amazing. Rise enjoys cooking and baking and it shows with the array of dishes and baked goods. The innkeepers, Rose and George, could not have been any nicer. They go above and beyond. I’ve stayed at many B&B’s throughout our travels and this was without a doubt my all time...

"The room was dirty. There was only toiletries for one person in a double room. The towels were thin and discoloured. Not sure the sheets hadn’t already been slept in ."

"Breakfast was mediocre at best. Nothing to get excited about. Pool is okay, a bit outdated. Entire property is mediocre. Housekeeping comes at 8 am and knocks unless you have your do not disturb sign out. We got rudely awakened, front desk informed us that we need to put sign out for next day."
