Restful outlook to the ocean from our covered patio with own fireplace for cooking. Suite was spacious with ample room for 3. Great to have bikes and beach gear provided—a nice amenity for foreign tourists. Rooms could do with a refresh-furniture a bit shabby and kitchenette was poorly equipped for cooking. However, all in all a lovely place to chill after a day on the beach, and the beach is fabulous!

Beautiful, well-kept hotel. 12 rooms all have beach views (it's across the road from the beach) and each balcony has it's own fireplace -- very nice touch. Immaculately clean rooms, spacious, kitchenettes. Huge soaker/jet tub in the bathroom. Can walk into La Paloma along the beach or down the road (took us about an hour each way). Staff was friendly. They bring breakfast to your room in the morning, which was such a nice touch! We enjoyed breakfast on our balcony :)

Fiquei somente uma noite e foi fora de temporada, por isto não utilizei toda infra-estrutura do hotel. Há empréstimo de bicicletas. Infelizmente faltou luz luz na cidade à noite e não retornou até irmos embora na manhã. Parte do hotel era atendida por gerador, mas os quartos não.

El hotel está bien, tiene buena calidad para lo que debe ofrecer la zona. Fuimos a una habitación con vista al mar, había parrilla y pudimos hacer un asado. No andaba el añade en un primer momento y cambiaron el mismo. No me gusto La Paloma, no hay mucho para hacer.

Across the road from the beach in La Paloma

Nice quiet area just outside town center, hotel has various obvious new upgrades with more in progress, a little ways to go. Staff pleasant and helpful, some very good with English, others good enough if you have some Spanish. Group fireplace and individual room bbq/fireplaces are nice touches and useful. Bed was very comfy. Room and bathroom are good size, bathroom nicely upgraded though massage shower is more complicated than I care for. Breakfast brought to your room per your order. Not quite as complete as some buffets we had this trip but good and big enough nonetheless. We enjoyed our stay.

Weekend of Zen

This hotel was great for a weekend away with friends. I particularly appreciated the perks like breakfast delivered to your door, the fire every night, free wifi, the pool, in room massage, and being so close to the beach.

What a gem..oceanview..great sheets on bed…great two person tub in suite…excellent internet.. quiet location..full access to beach…bikes that they had to ride were top-notch…barbecue pit on balcony was sweet…cooked our dinner there…carrots and sweet potato in tinfoil on hot coals…yum..yum..service was good..good massage…English speaking front clerk,,,very pretty also..friendly fun-loving and such a relaxing time….loved all dogs running free..nice outside pool also

La Paloma oasis

The staff were very helpful. They spoke Spanish slowly and we made ourselves understood just fine even with our rudimentary language skills. An excellent location just across from the beach. Few maintenance issues with the shower and DVD player but they were looked after right-away. Overall enjoyed our stay.

Warm Hospitality in Paradise

The most comfortable bed I have ever slept in, also great linens. The owners are very sweet and make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. Their staff are very courteous and competent. I did not speak Spanish so their staff was so very kind and patient when trying to communicate with me. The staff always had a cheerful warm smile when working. The rooms are very clean and modern. Great kitchen area with every utensil imaginable. Great views of the ocean !!!

This is a very well thought out apart-hotel perfectly situated just across the road from a magnificent beach with sea views from all the rooms. The owners are English speakers and extremely helpful and staff are very pleasant. Rooms are huge, better equipped than most other apart- hotels, good satellite t.v. with many channels, nice bathroom and a big, comfortable bed. Choose breakfast from a list of available options the previous evening and it's delivered to your apartment exactly on time. Really enjoyed our stay here but if you're not familiar with the area you need to know it's not in the centre of town (there being several beaches in La Paloma) so if you want to use the restaurants it will involve a drive into the main square of a few minutes.
