  • May 2016 Italian Court, Kutná Hora, Czech republic The Italian Court (Czech: Vlašský dvůr) is a palace in Kutná Hora. Originally, it was the seat of the Central Mint of Prague; it was named after the Italian experts who were at the forefront of the minting reform. The main area of the mint consisted of coin-makers-workshops, or Smithies, which were located around the courtyard, and the minting chamber, called “Preghaus”, where the Prague groschen were struck. After its reconstruction at the end of the 14th century, the Italian Court became a part-time Royal residence of Czech kings. Kutná Hora hosted the most important silver mines in the land from 14th to 16th century and the Prague groschen coin was the unified money instrument from 1300 to 1537 in the whole kingdom. The importance of the Mint and Kutná Hora has ceased in 16th century due to the cheaper import of silver from South America.

Church of bones

Right on the main square but the square isn't that exciting. Hotel has everything you need and the staff were very helpful. Room was decent and the shower was excellent. Breakfast was ok but it seems you need to get there sharp as not much left in last half an hour. Lots of extras on offer such as beauty therapies and reasonably priced but we were only there 2 nights so didn't use them

Goedkope tussenstop, alles in orde - maar verwacht uiteraard geen gigantisch modern of luxueus hotel. Ideaal voor korte stop. Locatie wel heel goed! Parking wel even stappen.

Praktische Lage für Stadtbesichtigung

Unser Zimmer hinten raus war ruhig. Der Schlafbereich ist etwas älter aber sauber. Es gibt einen schwenkbaren Tischventilator (keine AC). WC separat vom Bad - super! Bad & WC renoviert. Es gibt Seifenspender bei Waschbecken und Wanne und eine kleine Bodylotion, Handtücher angenehm. Das Personal an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Beim Frühstück kann man auch zu den Tischen im Foyer ausweichen wenn es zu voll sein sollte. Das Buffet bot verschiedene warme Speisen, div. Gebäck, Kuchen, Wurst, Käse, Obst/Gemüse, Cerialien. Zur Stoßzeit war das Angebot teilweise schon etwas ausgesucht. Die Lage war sehr praktisch: fußläufig alles erreichbar. Mit Bus 801 vom Bahnhof auch direkt zu erreichen (haben uns kurzfristig an der Haltestelle die pid App für Tickets runtergeladen).

Hotellet har flott beliggenhet, og kunne vært mye bedre. Resepsjonen er uinteressert og lite effektiv. Rommene ser slitte og gamle ut, og i tillegg er de varme midt på sommeren. Frokosten var bra.

Nejedná se o hotel, ale penzion. Není celodenní restaurace, na pokojích se neuklízí denně. Snídaně příšerná, malý výběr, jako pečivo pouze tvrdé housky. V bábovce bylo víc éček než mouky. Druhou noc byl vítr a ve dvoře (kam byla okna) měl jakýsi přístřešek uvolněnou plechovou střechu, takže klid na spánek byl stejný jako na kontejnerovém překladišti.

Hôtel d'étape

Idéalement situé au coeur de la ville. Les centres d'intérêts de Sedlec sont à 2 kilomètres environ. Très bon accueil en anglais. Personnel professionnel et sympathique. Possibilité de se garer gratuitement devant l'hôtel .Il y a très peu de places et il faut être chanceux comme je l'ai été. La réception remet une carte de stationnement à mettre sur le tableau de bord précisant que nous logeons à l'hôtel. Chambre simple (n°118) sans climatisation et avec de gros radiateurs. Petit déjeuner buffet correct. Nombreux restaurants à côté.

Hotel je situován přímo na náměstí v Kutné Hoře, takže jste v centru dění. Všude je to kousek a všude si dojdete. V hotelu nám chyběla asi jen klimatizace :-). Perzonál byl milý, pokoj pěkný, uklizený, čistý. Vše bez problémů.

Convenient location.

Convenient location right on main square. Easy walking in town centrum. Main attractions of Basilica and Ossuary are 3 km away on outskirts but easy drive with free parking. Centrum attractions not touristy and worth visiting. Good local food. Hotel easy to find and parking convenient in lot on side street of hotel.
