I don’t understand the relatively good reviews for this place: the accommodation is very dated, no elevator to upper floors, some of the most uncomfortable beds we’ve had in a long time, a sink that did not properly drain. Very poor value for money.

This review reflects an unfortunate situation in which an employee’s behavior necessitated my making a complaint to the management. They responded quickly and appropriately. It would be unfair rate my stay based on one staff member; the others were great. Not so pleased, however, with Hotels/Expedia refund policy. Shouldn’t be so difficult once property agrees to the refund. ☹️☹️☹️ for Expedia.

Od same prijave u hotel na recepciji na dalje jedno predivno iskustvo. Ljubazno osoblje na svakom koraku, od recepcije, restorana do bazena u sklopu hotela- bez iznimke. Odlična ponuda jela za doručak i večeru. Plaža je u neposrednoj blizini hotela, par minuta šetnje prekrasnim ambijentom do grada Krka. Za mene jedno prekrasno iskustvo i, ako ću ponoviti boravak u Krku, ponovit ću i boravak u ovom hotelu.

Good family hotel close to the city

Villa Lovorka is one of three sister hotels owned by Hoteli Krk. The check in is at Hotel Drazica where also the pool area and breakfast are located. Villa Lovorka consists out of two three storey buildings without elevators. Between the buildings there is a small reception/café/bar where you can leave your room key. We got a nice room (351) in two levels with a double bed and a bed sofa in one room. This room also had a refrigerator, air conditioning, hair dryer and a balcony. Note! Not all room has balcony or terrace. The sun beds at the pool area costs 20 Kouna/day but sun umbrellas are free. The water slide is free, but it is only run for 15 minutes 12, 14, 16 and 18. The pool is open from 9-20 and pool bar from 10-19. The sea is 100m away, open 0-24h and easy accessible by stairs.

Strandnähe ist gegeben, ca.1-2 Minuten zu Fuss

Das Personal ist nicht gerade freundlich. Vor allem im Servicebereich bekommt man selten ein Lächeln. Die Sauberkeit der Zimmer lässt viele Wünsche offen. Das erste Zimmer das wir gebucht hatten, war recht geräumig dennoch haben wir es reklamiert, weil im Bad die Dusche sehr eng und unsauber war, Rostflecke an den Armarturen; die im normalen Bett befindlichen Matratzen sehr durchgelegen und muffig sind. Das sich in diesem Raum befindliche Schlafsofa ebenfalls nach alten Gerüchen ausdünstete. In diesem Bettsofa befand sich jede Menge Dreck, Staub und Haare. Aus diesem Grund wollten wir aus dem Hotel ausbuchen. Dieses wurde mit der Information zugesagt, dass wir dennoch alle Buchungskosten in voller Höhe zahlen müssten. Ein neues, jedoch um einiges kleinere Zimmer, das uns zum gleichen Preis angeboten wurde, war von der Ausstattung und der Sauberkeit ebenfalls sehr enttäuschend. Man sagte uns, dass dieses Zimmer das einzige sei, welches noch frei ist. Daher mussten wir es nehmen, obwohl der im ersten Zimmer mit gebuchte Balkon hier fehlte. Ein Ausbuchen, ohne das uns Kosten entstehen würden, war wie bereits geschildert nicht möglich. Daher entschieden wir uns für die zweite Zimmerauswahl, weil in diesem zweiten Zimmer zumindest die Matratzen nicht so muffig waren und die Dusche einiges grösser und neuer war, als im ersten Zimmer. Die zugesagte Internetverbindung war sehr schlecht. Selbst nach langen EINLOGGZEITEN brach die Internetverbindung oft zusammen.
