"When I arrived to check-in, the front desk attendant was dismissive and rude. First, he didn't even acknowledge my presence til I greeted him first. Second, I was assigned an entirety different room from what I had reserved through Hotels.com. When I asked about it, I was informed that they had no such rooms available and that i should get over it. I swallowed my words and proceeded to my assigned room. After getting settled in, I ran into issues with the TV and remote that was in the room. The TV wouldn't change channels, volume, or even access settings. The only function it was capable of was turning the power on and off. The remote control was of no use either. I made 7-8 trips from my second floor room to the downstairs outside lobby entrance and back again, each time trying different remotes that were supposedly designated for their specific Hotel TV's. I never got the situation resolved and wasted 2-3 hours running around with no soluion. Finally I gave up and went to bed. When I went down for breakfast the next morning I was again disappointed due to lack of food. I arrived to eat around 7:45-8:00 am and found hardly anything to eat. I asked if there was more food coming out since breakfast ended at 9:00 am. Again, with a rude attitude and demeanor I was told that I should have gotten there earlier and no more was being brought out for guests. I relayed all my grievances to the manager hoping for some apology and yes, even a refund. I got laughter and ridicule instead"

"We've always been happy with LaQuinta, but not the case this time. Of course, the online pictures show nice gym and pool with hot tub. These are a priority for my husband and me after a day of traveling. First, we found broken gym equipment. Front desk clerk said yes, we're remodeling and not fixing it yet. Next was out of order ice machine. Later, I asked the clerk to unlock the padlock to the pool area and was told that the hot tub was broken and they call it the warm tub. Pool was too cold to enjoy. When exiting to the pool, I noticed a propped open side door, cigarette butts and trash on the ground. I knew then that the whole place was not secure. I was outside 30 minutes +, no staff was seen. So when I decided to go in, my room key wouldn't open the "secured" door, so I thought I'd just try the handle, and yes, it was never locked, even though the posted sign says the door is locked 24 hours. Again, not secure at all! It was explained that management had recently changed, and we try to understand, but this was just too much, and we didn't enjoy our stay at all. I would really appreciate a refund. I do have pictures to share."

"So we had gotten a Suite checked in got to room no AC working. They do have maintenance check it out but no luck. Front desk lady was very helpful and just gave us two separate rooms which that was greatly appreciated. Other than that issue stay was good. "

"Staff was very friendly. The hotel and the grounds (included an area to walk a dog) were very nice. The breakfast was generous. My only issue was the soundproofing isn't as good as I would have liked. I could hear people shutting their doors during the night. It sounded like someone was vaccuming on the 3rd floor at 5 am. "
