If you want a romantic trip back to Ireland without the expense of an airfare, then Mickey Bourke's Koroit Hotel is just the tonic! It's just like staying in an old fashioned B&B pub you might find anywhere in rural Ireland: good craic, great comfort food, a foamy Guinness or two, open fires in the winter, and comfortable beds in quiet, clean rooms, Great for an overnight or weekend stop, back to a slower pace of life. Enjoy!

Mickey Bourke's is a historic pub,full of olde worlde decor. We were pleased with our room, which though relatively small had a comfortable bed, one armchair, electric blankets and heater, all that we needed for a good night's sleep. Bathroom facilities were across the hall (which we were prepared for) with modern toilet and okay shower. The reading room downstairs had an open fire with sofas to sit and relax and watch TV. I had it to myself so was happy. The included breakfast was a basic continental one, cereal, toast, juice, tea & coffee. We also had dinner in the restaurant which had ample choice and a good standard. All in all, happy with our stay.

It is great old school pub ! Welcoming feel. Friendly, genuine, attentive staff. Fantastic food - great pub grub ! We loved our room ( does not matter there was no ensuite), guest lounge - well appointed comfy!, Guest kitchen was clean - well appointed and it had great touches. The roaring fire in the public bar added to the welcoming feel, as did the nice alcoves to eat lunch - including the historic signs ( including old funny ones), pictures etc We will be going back for more. Thanks !
