"This was a great location, room was nice and breakfast was good. We had a really nice stay. My criticism is the spa rules were not consistent and regimented concerning hours spent as a hotel guest even when it was not busy. I think it is a shame that they don’t have a pool for families. The pool is only used for people 18 years and older. The spa services were not available on the weekend which is surprising during peak season."

"Claudia was amazing and so hospitable. This gives quite the home vibe and a quick walk to lake bled. Breakfast spread was great! If and when I return to bled I would definitely stay here again!"

The staff were all so kind and helpful and I couldn’t get over how incredible the views were. This exceeded any expectations I had!!! "Hotel Jezero is the grand old lady of Bohinj. It's been here a while and in some ways it shows (eg room doors are locked with proper keys, not electronically) but it's still a fabulous hotel. Step outside and you're right on the lake, location can't be beaten. The pool and sauna are lovely, the breakfast has a lot of choice and I really appreciated the seeds and fresh and dried fruit options. I got upgraded to a twin room and it was very spacious."

"Really well appointed and spacious apartment in gorgeous village of Smartno. Everything you could need and everything very close by in terms of food and drink options. Buffet breakfast was provided at a premises just around the corner. Comfy big bed."

The kitchen was well equipped for basic meals, with essentials like washing-up liquid, sponge, cloth, tea towel, plus tea, coffee, salt, and pepper provided. Unfortunately, the customer service did not match the quality of the accommodation. We arrived mid-afternoon to find reception unattended and never found staff there despite returning several times before it closed at 8pm. There were people in the staff area, but...

"Room was beautiful and well maintained. Lovely balcony and outdoor seating. Yard was beautifully maintained with lovely flowers. Located in town center, close to restaurants and activities. The shower had wonderful water pressure too. We would stay here again."

The gym is not on site even though it is mentioned in the booking. As a solo traveler, I felt judged multiple times by the staff especially during check in by the front desk receptionist who mainly appeared annoyed I was bothering her when she seemed about to get off her shift (I was asked if I was staying here many more times than the average group of visitors...
