"Very nice vibe to the hotel. The breakfast was excellent and exceeded our expectations."

"Lodge is located in a beautiful location on Emerald Lake. Staff is very good and on site restaurant was highly quality. Now for the downside: it’s remote and guests must take shuttle from parking to lodge. The “cabin” was clean but in a 4-unit shared older building with very thin walls between rooms. There are no services (TV, wi-fi, or cell) except in main lodge. The only food service is from the lodge as nearest town (Fields) is 6 miles and has no restaurants. So, if you are looking to...

"The view from the room is amazing and beautiful. There is not much to do around there, but we went to Nelson and had a great shopping day."

"They accepted a booking clearly marked pet friendly and then we got suggested on arrival to leave pet in the vehicle. It’s not that nice, I’ve stayed their before without a pet and the sheer audacity of staff to even make a suggestion like it is ridiculous. Also; refund refused even though they accepted the booking. Terrible hotel, keep driving to anywhere else."

"If you have small children that love the pool, bring a life jacket or floating arms. We didn’t and our daughter loves water but because its so deep at the start she couldn’t enjoy it. Don’t underestimate the restaurant either, the food is amazing and portions are a perfect size. No waste on my plate and even had home made pie!!!"
