Very good location right on the beach. Could do with more sun beds as not enough for all guests.

The property is right on the beach and close to town so very convenient. There wasnt much parking spaces for cars.The bungalow we stayed in was good but a little dated. The shower didnt have any hot water, the bedside light didnt work and there was no password for wifi in the room. We did ask for wifi password but found it didnt work. The buffet breakfast was good and has lot of choices.

We stayed in a garden cabin, a bit worn but apart from that you couldn’t fault the resort. 2min walk to the Main Stree which plenty of bars & places to eat. 30seconds walk to the beach, the hotel provide sun-beds, chairs & beanbags. I would recommend the bean bags very comfortable. Great stay 😊

We stayed in one of the superior garden bungalows and I highly recommended. We were 50 steps to the beach, 50 steps (in the other direction) to the pool, and 20 steps to the restaurant and bar. All staff were exceptionally accommodating, but in particular BIG BIG shout out to Kong in the restaurant/bar. We'll definitely be back!

Staff very attentive, friendly and helpful. However, when we arrived, apparently, because of a lightning strike was no lift or TV. It took 2 weeks for the lift to function and the satellite TV never materialised. Food and bar were very good. The management should have done more to make the most of the beach and facilities.

Major deception
We booked the bungalow beach front based all of the 10 /10 customer ratings on the booking site . The hotel is rundown and the grounds need a lot of work . The pool was good but away from the beach area . I got a stain on my back from sitting on the chairs on the bungalow porch . The pictures were nothing like the hotel to a point that the receptionist didn’t recognize the beach chair layout .

Excellent stay here, will definitely recommend and return. Staff member Kong was particularly good and needs to be specifically mentioned, nothing was too much trouble and the restaurant food was awesome and so cheap..

Fantastisk beliggenhet og service
Vi bodde i en bungalow rett ved resepsjonen. Jeg vil anbefale en bungalow nærmere vannet grunnet støy om natten når folk kommer og går. Bungalowene er av eldre standard. Det har alt du trenger og rengjøring er bra. Men hvis man ønsker 4-5 stjerners bungalow er dette er godt stykke unna. Resorten ligger rett ved stranden. Dette var fantastisk: Beliggenhet, service, priser i restaurant, maten, bassenget. Men jeg tror ikke jeg ville betalt mer enn det vi betalte i lavsesong grunnet eldre utdatert standard på bungalowene. Hard madrass, men dette gjelder over alt i Thailand. Beliggenheten og servicen veier opp for dette 😊

Der bestellte Transfer vom Flughafen zum Hotel hat nicht geklappt. War im Nachhinein auch nicht nötig. Taxis zu den üblichen Preisen (600 Baht) genug am Flughafen. Bester Strandabschnitt. Leider Plastikteller zum Frühstück.

Fabulous stay!
Loved my stay here! Had everything I needed, great balcony and sea view, spacious and clean room, nice swimming pool, WiFi good enough for streaming on firestick, great location, great staff..... Fabulous stay in a fabulous place, I will be back to Lamai and the Coconut Beach Resort for sure!!

Had a great stay at this resort. We stayed in a beach side bungalow. The bungalow, while small, was clean and steps away from the sand. We enjoyed the food at the restaurant and the staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

We liked the resort very much. The structure as a small bungalow village with direct beach access and beautiful planting has a cozy and familiar flair. The pool is very large and ideal for swimming. The bungalow is not very big and lacked a bit of space for suitcases, but it is cozy and functionally furnished and had a refrigerator and a closet. The bed was also very comfortable. The bathroom was also clean and everything worked. The veranda in front of the bungalow was also large and equipped with two chairs, table and device for hanging laundry. In addition, there was a beach bag with beach towels in the bungalow. From the veranda and also in the bungalow itself, you could hear the waves from Lamai Beach, which is 2 minutes away by foot. The breakfast buffet was varied and the food selection changed daily. So there were different curries, different kinds of rice and noodles, but also cornflakes and a selection of fruits. In addition, you could have eggs prepared in various ways. Coffee, tea, juices, water and yogurt drinks were also available. Everything was super tasty, so we looked forward to breakfast every day. In the restaurant you could also eat during the day and in the evening and we also used that twice and found it delicious as well. The staff was always friendly and helpful. So we could book a day tour to Ang Thong, Scooters and the ferry Trip to Phangan. The hotel has direct beach access which is only a few steps away from the bungalows with sun beds.

Exactly what we hoped for!
We picked this lovely gem of a place after much research. Having done Thailand in 4/5 star hotels and spent no time in them we wanted a place on the beach with a decent room and facilities at a good price. Lamai coconut smashed all our expectations for service, location and facilities. It is, in fairness, a 3* hotel and doesn’t profess to be any other but it delivers in every way. The staff, without exception, couldn’t do enough for their guests. We rarely return to a hotel again knowing what else there is out there to see and discover but this place made us feel so welcome and comfortable we will inevitably be back! Loved it!

Room size is big with large balcony. The walls are very thin, I could hear my loud neighbor speaking way too much. The shower water never stays hot, it was constantly changing between very hot and very cold for every single shower. Breakfast is good, very basic breakfast buffet. No fancy coffee at this hotel. Front desk was very helpful for arranging reservations and taxis.

Billederne på hotels.com afspejler fuldstændig virkeligheden. Super service-minded og imødekommende personale. Poolen var super ren, og pool området var fint afgrænset og præget af ro. Stranden: dejlig tæt på, og fin renholdelse! Der er 3 forskellige strandmøbler at vælge imellem: sækkestol, alm stol og solsenge. Nogle af sidsnævnte trænger dog til udskiftning. Morgenmaden: var fin - også bacon kunne bestilles til røræggene - dog mangler der af hygiejniske årsager låg på de varme retter! Beliggenhed: 100 m. nede af en ydmyg sidegade til det trafikkerede turiststrøg. Dvs. hotellets beliggenhed er i top - helt uden bystøj. Bungalows: pænt stort soveværelse og velfungerende badeværelse. Herlig tilhørende møbleret terasse med tørrestativ til badetøj.

Super Location direkt am Meer
Top Lage. Direkt am Strand und zwei Minuten zur Geschäftsstraße. Schöner breiter Strand. Auch Schatten am Strand. Traumhafter Blick aufs Meer vom Zimmer im 4. OG. Alles sehr sauber. Zimmer top renoviert. Frühstück direkt am Strand - genial! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und mehrmals verlängert.
