Our apartment is in a local Thai area where local people people live away from the tourist areas. Here one will find a fruit and vegetable market at local prices and restaurants where local people eat at affordable price. This neighbourhood is precisely why people chose to book our place. Regarding electricity usage was a misunderstanding from his own side. We already told him he didn't need to pay anything, but he somehow understood that he had to pay. We are on an island, so things takes time to order and get replaced. Other properties doesn't even provide a water cooler and people must buy their own water. Our place offers free drinking water, but for this person even free things are a burden for him. Surely cycle the water in the fridge is still more convenient than to have to go to the supermarket and buy packs of water. The air conditioner after we inspected, turns out to be that he didn't understand how to set the remote control settings properly. It was not set as "cool" mode, but only as "air filtering" mode. That's why it wasn't cool. Other guests before him and after he left had no problems with the air conditioner. which is a Mitsubishi top model super inverter, which is known for its efficiency to cool a room quickly and energy efficient and very quiet.After hosting for 10 years, we understand it's not possible to make everybody happy. Fortunately overwhelming majority of our guests have been more than satisfied.
