Traditional Thai style property but looking somewhat tired by today's standard. Fantastic views and great location if you're happy to relax in the sun all day or stroll down the beach. Staff well trained and friendly.

Alt i alt et bra hotell men trenger en oppgradering og hadde vært fint med en dagligvarebutikk/kiosk i nærheten. Ligger veldig fredelig og stille til uten bråk. Minus var at hotellet hadde ikke personalet til å drive Spa avdelingen sin den ene dagen vi kunne tenke oss det. Hadde også vært topp med et biljardbord eller lignende siden det ikke ligger i nærheten av noe. Må ta taxi hvis man vil oppleve noe mer.

I had a very enjoyable and relaxing two-week stay at Banburee, and I will definitely return. I was extremely impressed with the quality service provided by every staff member, from the gardeners to the front desk staff to the cooks and servers in the restaurant. The location is very well maintained and the staff do everything they can to meet your requests and ensure you are comfortable and happy. My only suggestions would be to install some ceiling fans in the restaurant area because it can be very hot, humid, and uncomfortable in Samui even though it's not the 'hot season.' Also, it would be great if Banburee can reduce its use of plastic straws in all beverages and cocktails. This would fit with their concept of being a healthy, holistic wellness resort. Hopefully, they will consider changing to paper straws or reusable (washable) glass straws.

Best Resort!
Best resort ever! There are so many more amenities than I thought. There are free bikes and kayaks for rent. You can use their cellphone for free so that you can find your way around. You can rent motorbikes at a reservation price! The pool area was beautiful and the staff was super helpful. You can also go to their partnership hotel to use their pool and enjoy their beach!

Good spacy roms and very friendly and helpfull straff, a bit far away from everything but with a free shuttle in to town daily. Could have had a bit later pickups from the town but still alright.

Très bien
Personnel très accueillant, sympathique et toujours prêt à vous rendre service, voici le point numéro 1. Hôtel calme et reposant. Prestations proposées très bien (VTT gratuits, Smartphone de prêt gratuit permettant d'utiliser le GPS ou d'appeler en France), piscine extérieure agréable, location de scooters facile sans nécessité de laisser son passeport en caution. Le seul point négatif est sa situation géographique. Un peu éloigné de tout et la plage en face de l'établissement n'est pas adaptée a la baignade.

Ein wirklich tolles Hotel, wer Ruhe sucht! Alles war top! Sehr sauber, total freundliches Personal. Die Villen kosten zwar was, aber sie sind den Preis wert. Ich würde dieses Hotel definitiv wieder buchen. Perfekt mit Kindern! Das einzige Problem, es ist weit weg von allem, aber zum 7-11 kann man den Shuttle benutzen. Das Restaurant ist top, für Thailand zwar sehr teuer, aber es schmeckt wirklich gut. Abends gibt es gelegentlich Livemusik. Wir waren eine Woche, über Silvester, dort. Es war wirklich toll!

静かな環境のホテル。 夜打ち上げた花火が翌日になっても清掃されておらず、波間に置きっ放しでした。これでは、ここの海もいづれ観る価値のないものになるでしょう。

Great location for a chill inside the resort.
Has many plus points but shame about the loose dangerous dogs on the beach that prevents a walk on the beach ! Nice courteous staff but spa facilities expensive'ish ! Was surprised that I couldn't walk out with a shampoo bottle in my room that was offered as part of my stay :) unless I chose to pay for it of course!

Hôtel très confortable, ou le personnel est aux petits soins avec les clients. En revanche la plage, avec l'amplitude des marée n'est vraiment pas top et l'hôtel est au milllieu de nulle part, . Il y a néanmoins une navette pour accéder à une plage plus animée de l'ile.

Peace and quiet, away from touristy area.
Nice resort if you want peace and quiet, which was perfect for us. The hotel does offer a shuttle bus to go into town.

Hotel was well maintained rooms cleaned every day and fresh towels. The best of this hotel is the staff they are fantastic and nothing is too much trouble for them. They made our stay very comfortable. They are friendly and ensure you are well looked after. I would highly recommended this hotel to anyone thinking of visiting Koh Sumui.

가격, 객실, 서비스, 리조트 환경 등 모든 게 만족스러웠습니다. 비수기라 그런지 더블룸 5만원 정도에 머물렀는데, 아무리 태국이라도 이 가격에 이 정도 퀄리티 숙소는 드물 듯 합니다. 리조트에 딸린 해변도 이쁘고 한적해서 사진 찍기 좋습니다. 시내로 나가기가 힘든 게 흠인데, 라마이 해변까지는 하루 몇차례 무료 셔틀이 운행합니다. 이용시엔 20밧 정도 팁을 주시면 됩니다. 그외 지역을 갈 때는 편도 최대 3만원 정도의 택시비를 감수해야 하니 차라리 하루 3만원 정도에 차를 렌트하시는 게 좋습니다.

좋아요.
렌트를 한다면 가격대비 괜찮지만, 그게 아니라면 비추다. 좋은 기억으로 10년만에 다시 방문한 코사무이는 엄청나게 변해있었다. 돈에 환장들을 했는지 어딜가든 바가지를 씌우기 바빴다. 특히 대중교통인 택시가 대표적이다. 우린 렌트를 해서 잘 쉬다 왔기에 매우 만족한다. 직원들도 친절하고 부족한 영어를 해도 알아 들으려고 매우 노력한다. 시장에서 랍스터나 새우 등을 사오면 정말 싼 값에 쉐프가 직접 요리를 해준다. 휴식하러 가기에 최고다.

Abgelegenes, ruhiges Hotel, fernab des Touristenzentrums. Leider kein Badestrand, Wasser wegen Ebbe und Flut tagsüber nicht da. Strand verschlammt. Es wurde 3x am Tag ein kostenloser Transfer zu einem kooperierenden Hotel in Lamai angeboten, um dort zu baden. Das Hotel selbst war aber nicht der Standard vom Banburee-Hotel. Personal sehr zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit und nett. Essen ok, das Frühstücksbuffet hätte abwechslungsreicher sein können. Immer nur 4 Fruchtsorten, keine Bananen oder Mango, die man auf dem Markt nachgeschmissen bekommt. 1 Sorte Käse (immer die gleiche) und 2 Sorten Wurst (immer Gekochter Schinken und Salami), Die Cocktails waren nicht gut und auch nicht dekoriert. Jeden 2. Tag hat ein Duo live gesungen. Das war sehr gut und schön und war es immer wert, noch einen Absacker oder Bierchen zu trinken am Abend. Leider wurde gerade am einen Restaurant angebaut und das 2. Restaurant war geschlossen. Es ist gut, wenn man sich ein Auto oder Moped leit, um flexibel zu sein

This is a very nice hotel.
If you want peace and quiet in a beautiful location, stunning gardens, with very helpful and friendly staff and excellent accommodation you'll love Banburee. However it is quite remote. There are great restaurants and shopping in Lamai but the taxi fares became expensive. There are no other amenities in walking distance. Though it's on the beach it's a shallow bay and swimming is impossible. But the pool is a good consolation and the view is beautiful. The room, though 'standard' was very large, colonial style, big bed and huge jacuzzi bath and shower. Good food in restaurant. We had a great stay.

Beautiful and cozy Banburee
We stayed for 20 nights in june. The garden and the pool area were really beautyfull and well maintained. We had a seaview villa and we were lucky enough to get the one right by the pool. The villa was a classic oriental style, the kind that you see a lot in Thailand. All in all the villa was nice, the bedroom looked good and was comfy but the bathroom could use some improvement. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. They went out of their way to make sure our every need was met. Especially Gerwin the Restaurant manager was a true professional who took good care of the customers and offered excelent travel tips. And Kid the F and b manager from the Restaurant was always very friendly and talkative and always had a big smile on his face. We would also like to mention Gemwil at the lobby who gave us a warm welcome and was very helpful with the motorbike. Renting a motorbike is a must because the nearest restaurants and shops are a bit too far to reach on foot. There is also a shuttle bus to Lamai Beach (Sand sea resort) a couple of times a day. The surrounding area is made up of beautiful country side and tropical forests. The beach is shallow and unswimmable - mostly low tide. About a kilometer up the main road (not ringroad) toward Lamai there's a beautiful View point restauran with a breath taking view of the country side and the surrounding hills. We loved staying at Banburee and would stay again.

The best deal
This is by far the best deal on the island. Wonderful staff, and gorgeous view. Excellent prices. You can rent transportation directly from them. It's a little further away from Chawang, but worth it if you're looking for a nice quiet environment; plus it's very close to Lamai, which is a great town with an awesome nighttime market. Extra room guests were never a problem, and the professionals who keep the place running are excellent guides to a positive and relaxing time. I'm American, but there were folks from all over the world at the resort. The band who plays there regularly are awesome. The place is more like a social club than any other place I've been. I got to have a blast with couples from England, Germany, Russia, France, and the Philippines. I stayed here for more than two weeks. I had originally planned on going to Vietnam and mainland Thailand, but I just couldn't bring myself to leave this place. It was so relaxing. The only downside is integrating back into normal society after you get back home. You're truly spoiled here, and it's emotional when you leave.

Brutta esperienza!!!!
Resort situato in una posizione scomoda, lontano da tutto e tutti..camere vecchie e non pulitissime..personale inadeguato (in alcuni membri) e poco serio.. Colazione scarsa e non molto igienica eppure ne parlavano più che bene sulle recensioni. Non so se è dipeso dal periodo in cui siamo stati ma di sicuro non ci tornerò mai più!!! Non siamo stati gli unici ad esser rimasti scontenti. Brutta esperienza

Great place for relaxation and excellent service
I really enjoyed Banburee Resort. The staff were excellent. It is on a quiet part of the island so it is good for relaxation. The restaurant at the hotel had many delicious choices and the food was good. I loved lounging by the poolside while looking at the ocean view and walking on the beach. The hotel has happy hour and a great lunch menu too, the service at the restaurant and through the hotel was excellent.

Vriendelijk resort
Hier kun je tot rust komen want wel wat ver van de bewoonde wereld. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel, gratis shuttle service naar zuster resort in lamai beach.

Beautiful resort. Below average rooms.
Very quiet place to stay. The ocean is not somewhere you can swim due to all the rocks, but the view is very beautiful! The restaurant was very good there. They even had live music a couple nights during our stay. The pool was out of order due to heavy rainfall the night before. The rooms were not the most comfy, nor were they the best looking. Staff were very excellent and friendly. They have a free shuttle to Lamai beach and back every day 3x a day which was very handy. Overall I'm not sure if I would stay here again due to the rooms, but the rest of the resort is very beautiful and very nature like.

Overall a very nice stay
The hotel is situated 30 minutes from Lamai in a very nice and relaxing spot. We were welcomed by the reception in a very pleasant way and upgraded to a Villa with sea view for 2 days (since they had some "problems" with the air-condition in our normal room); later we decided to keep the room and pay extra. The hotel staff in general is very humble and polite, even if they could improve their english skills a lot more. Room was very nice with a great sea view. We were very relaxed after staying here. The bad point is the cleanliness. Bathtub was looking pretty bad since nobody bothered to fresh paint it. When opened, the water was dripping from the shower valve. Mirror was dirty most of the time, even after we inform them about it. Bedroom had a bad noise from the power panel inside the wardrobe.Windows were never cleaned and had stains all over it. And the outside terrace was dirty, even after we inform them. F&B: Chef was excellent. Very good food.Congrats!. Staff was good but again not speaking very well english.F&B manager was ok, but was insisting too much we the special offers. Also he could manage better the staff, since most of the time they are sitting at the PC and people need attention or things are dirty. (see pool area, pool towers just thrown away this is just an example.The most annoying thing:Maintain your beach cleanliness! Don't let garbage there! For 7 days on top of the right side stairs was/is garbage. Glean the garbage and don't just hide in the sand!

服务很周到，房间很干净，整体环境不错，泳池很适合小朋友，大家都很喜欢。就是位置很偏远，只适合宅酒店的朋友。

Second stay, does not disappoint
We stayed in this hotel previously, both times at the beach front villa. The hotel staff are fantasic, the villa is large and comfortable. With separate living room and bedroom, both with aircon units, separate wc and bath areas and outside private shower facilities, these are comfortable rooms with great views. The pool is a good size and always clean, quite and right on the beach. The beach is small although walking to the left quickly uncovers stunning sandy areas where you can feel totally alone. The staff are friendly and facilities including free wifi easily accessible. A free shuttle to the local town of Lamai (where anything you want can be found) is provided although can be expensive for a return taxi. I love this hotel for the piece and quite, if you want lively, look elsewhere.
