Best Holiday I ever had.....

The climate, location, staff, environment, hospitality, food everything was awesome. Felt very close to nature during the stay and would strongly recommend the place. and will definitely visit this place again.

Breathtaking View and Excellent Staff

Country Club Vista at Kodai provides an breathtaking view and fantastic aesthetic natural beauty away from the hustle bustle of city life. The Campfire at the resort was the most precious experience and the staff there is extremely empathetic and hospitable. We were very pleased with our stay at the Country Club - Kodai. Kudos to the staff. They run it extremely well with maximum utilization of the moment with the minimum experience that they have. The hotel is very clean and tidy, everyone in the hotel is working towards giving you the best of the experience in your stay at the hotel. Note : One must be aware that the hotel is about 10 kms away from the main city (Kodai Lake), it is 4 kms away from the main road. If one has his own car than this is the best place or you might want to plan your transport well before acceding to check in the hotel. However if you are a nature lover and want blissful peace than there is no better place than Country Club. Personally I would love to go back to Country Club acknowledging the pros and cons of the hotel; tilting more towards the pros and enjoy the refreshing experience away from the commotion or bustle of the city life. Enjoy :)

Worst service

The view from hotel is the only good thing about the hotel... No hot water, worst service , the rooms are not cleaned on daily basis during stay. Towels are not changed everyday. Drinking water is not kept. When asked for drinking water the same will be sent to the room after an hour... Worst service...

Good hotel, but not great!!

This hotel is a bit away from the Kodaikanal town. So if you are fine to be at this place for a day and go for site seeing the next day, it's fine. Food was OK but I felt it was over-priced for the quality, quantity and variety what they had. Otherwise it was a fine stay for us with good staff and fun activities by their volunteers.

Good view from but other facilities are very bad..

Keeping it short and crisp: 1.Only reason for me to opt for this hotel was the view but you will get a room from where the view is good if you are very lucky, as from many rooms you will not be able to see the view, they have trees planted in front of the window. 2.Food is costly and taste wise it is not worth. 3. Hotel is located 13-14 kms from the market and Kodai lake so, every time you want to visit the market etc. you will have to spend 300-400 INR one way. 4. Their room service was pathetic, during the buffet time they were not providing room service so, if you have not opted for buffet then you will have to remain hungry for 2-3 hours till they resume the room service. 5. Even after complaining to the manager nothing changed. 6. room quality can be inferred from my ratings.
