Winningen

"The hotel is a good 0.5 mile from the town centre up a STEADY UPSLOPE. The hotel has no restaurant, so I chose a snack + own wine rather than face an exhausting walk back after an evening meal in town. Hotel corridor and rooms have no carpets. So the clatter of guests using metal room keys carried down the corridor. Buffet breakfast was okay, scrambled egg or boiled eggs, but nothing else hot. Reasonable choice of muesli, bread rolls and bread for toasting, + preserves."

"Breakfast wasn't very good. Not enough parking for all hotel guests. Had to park across the road till morning then move the car as soon as a space became available."

"Although the rooms were super clean, I found that the reception was not helpful at all except for one gentleman at night named Mohammed."

"Very chic hotel with well presented bedroom and bathroom Would have been nice to have an area to relax downstairs, there was an outdoor area but weather not good enough for sitting outside. Italian restaurant was delicious, as was breakfast.Book restaurant before you go as very popular and closed on a Sunday"

"This is an interesting hotel to stay while in Koblenz. The hotel is quite a distance from the train station and if you are driving, it has limited parking. It is definitely not close enough to walk from the train station, especially if you have luggage. And trying to figure out how the bus system works is very difficult. In addition to the difficulty of understanding the schedule, the drivers are absolutely rude! We’ve been traveling through Switzerland and Germany for the past five weeks and...

"What a beautiful place to stay, an old convent, peaceful surroundings. There are no staff, however everything is easy to find, coffee machine, tea’s, a fridge full of drinks in the main entrance. (Honesty box) Three minute walk to the Lindhoffer Gaststätte for a typical German breakfast, plenty of Coffee etc. We ate there in the evening, the rump steak was delicious and tender, other options were superb. It’s not the Hilton ok !!! , but it’s a truly comfortable and cosy experience. Enjoy x"

Saubere Zimmer, gepflegtes Treppenhaus. Nette, geduldige Mitarbeiter erfüllen jeden Wunsch. Sehr gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Immer wieder."

"We had a lovely big room and the bed was very comfortable."

"The desk is open limited hours. Almost missed my train because I had to wait for them to open the day I checked out. No air conditioning-bring a fan. Breakfast looked good. Great location on the Rhine."

"Alles super"

"Alles bestens gerne wieder"
