Felt welcome

We were 4 adults and had ample space to stay. The receptionist Zaga was very friendly and helpful. She took our questions with full attention and had remedies for everything.

Wow.

Wow. We had an amazing stay. The room/cabin was really cozy, heated floors made all the difference getting out of the shower. The trailhead to Midnight Sun was right outside our door. Restaurant served excellent dishes with very friendly staff. Lastly, the spa. It was incredible, there are 2 sessions spanning 2 hours. You will want the full 2. Various hot and cold sections with multiple pools and do-it-yourself treatments made the experience incredible. Don't miss out on this. By the way, we paid the same price for 1 night in the dorm like hostel at Turistation - huge upgrade. Recommend 10/10.

I would not recommend it

Very disappointed with pretty much everything except the SPA which is a true gem. Service and friendliness of staff is beyond bad and despite being requested to book what time we woukd have breakfast, it was filled with empty pans and plates. Had run out of pancakes, scrambled eggs and bread and refused to refill despite us being there on the booked time and some 20 mins before breakfast closed. Arrogant staff when i asked if there was more scambled eggs (there was a full pan of it with plastics over it behind the counter) and was told they close soon. I would give this place a miss and just use the SPA as a separate activity. Until staff is motivated to treat customers kindly i dont see why one should spend money there.

Mysig plats.

Trivdes bra i Giron stuga på camp ripan. Fin stuga , ligger väldigt fint fantastiskt mysigt ställe. Superbra och väldigt fräsch frukostbuffé, den bästa frukostbuffén jag upplevt faktiskt på något hotell eller resa. Trevlig personal. Det som drar ner betyget något är att det var väldigt varmt i stugan de dagar vi var där, svårt att sova och jobbigt för vovven. Kunde bara öppna 3st små smala nätade fönster i sidan på huvudfönstren. Annars mycket nöjd med våran vistelse och kommer välja camp ripan igen om vi kommer upp i Kiruna en annan gång.

Fönstren kan ej öppnas: extremt varma rum.

Stugorna har fönster som ej går att öppna, endast små ventilationsluckor går att öppna och med dessa går det inte att vädra boendet tillräckligt på varma dagar. Stugorna är små, målade med mörk färg på utsidan och har plåttak. Det gör att de hettas upp inomhus extremt mycket. Att då inte kunna vädra ordentligt med korsdrag är helt värdelöst. Jag skulle aldrig boka detta boende mellan maj-september. Dessutom var stugan rejält sliten, även om det var ganska snyggt fixat med inredningsdesignen. Toadörren hade slagit sig så mycket att den inte gick att låsa. Toan hakade ofta upp sig och gick då inte att spola med. Frukosten var ok, förutom äggröran och bacon som inte smakade bra alls. Personalen var det inget fel på, men de kändes orutinerade. Saknade det där ”lilla extra” som kännetecknar ställen med glädje i serviceyrket. Om de ordnar öppningsbara fönster eller installerar AC så är det bara småsaker som återstår innan detta är ett riktigt trevligt ställe. Som det är nu får det bara betraktas som en nödlösning när allt annat är fullbokat.

Det var 30 grader ute ved vårt opphold. Selv om det ikke er air condition på hotellet, så er det ikke holdbart at det er nærmere 35 grader inne på rommet! Dette gjorde til at natten var uutholdeig
