"Great location but very noisy in our front room at the weekend with revellers coming out other pubs. Staff all really helpful and can't do enough for you. Plenty choice at breakfast"

"Room was nice, bed was comfortable, breakfast had good selection. We brought our x2 dogs and as with a lot of other stays we’ve done felt a bit short changed with the £30 per dog fee. Would recommend having a fridge in a dog friendly room as some dog food needs kept in a fridge. Otherwise had a nice stay and would likely stay again."

"I really enjoyed my stay, and certainly hope to get back to this hotel very soon. The quality of food at breakfast was incredible."

"Great hotel, friendly staff"

"Outstanding and caring staff optimised our stay. Gorgeous food and it was great to chat with the owner. Suggest an EV charge point for guests would be an enhancement. There was a commercial point just a couple of miles away in town, but being able to charge overnight would save time in our day and make sure we were ready to travel around visiting the region. "We were happy enough with our room at St Ronans Hotel and we were grateful for the host's recommendation that we should go to The Traquair Arms Hotel for our evening meal."

"Great room with walk in en suite. Friendly staff who were very accommodating. Delicious breakfast."

"The public areas were a bit dark and gloomy. The bedroom was hot and stuffy even with the windows open. Some furniture was quite old fashioned but the bed was comfortable enough. The food was OK but lacked better wine choices. The breakfast was a bit too greasy. Staff were friendly and helpful."

"Very helpful staff. Good food. Excellent location."

"Absolutely fantastic service, staff were were superb. Will definitely return and recommend to all family and friends."

"This is hands down the best stay I have ever experienced . My entire family loved it. We did the falconry and enjoyed all the food. The room and property was gorgeous and the staff so incredible"

"Very helpful chap checked me in, nice room, nice bathroom etc"

"Dated and basic accommodation but reflected in the cost. Room was a bit dusty and plugs for devices were not easy to get to. Could do with a security chain on the door in addition to the lock. Everything else worked well and good value if you just need somewhere to put your head down for the night."

"One thing to say it was like a back packers retreat !!! Everything was falling apart ! Back packers everywhere. No fridge or air con or fans in the room. No hot water for 3 days in my bathroom !!! No daily services so 1 towel was supposed to last me for 9 days !!! Photos in advert is not what it is when you get there either !!! Nice soft sofas are not at all what you get there !!! No tv in rooms either !! Place is falling apart !!! Do not book. They told me that Expedia has with...
