"Room was clean and tidy , although it had ,had a make over the workmanship was average . Broken mixer tap on hot tub which made adjusting water temperature impossible ( no cold water to cool it down). The shower head was well past needing replacement . Street appeal was mared by a dirty old mattress out front . Room heating was very good ."

"My stay started out perfectly great — everything lovely. The owners were super-friendly at check‑in, and everything seemed lovely. I was going through a rough time, checked out early, and accidentally left a few things behind, including the key. When I came back the next day, they’d kindly packed everything into a bag for me. Great. And then the vibe did a full 180. The same owner who’d been warm when I checked in suddenly looked at me like I’d dragged a body across the carpet instead of...

"A quick overnight trip en route to Russell but a lovely place. Super clean and well equipped. Staff were extremely nice and helpful. Beautiful place on the beach with a world class view. Wish we could have stayed longer. Nice restaurants nearby too!"

"Please don’t book this hotel until you have confirmed parking. I was made to park outside farmers and then walk through farmers with all my bags to enter the hotel. I came back late after a work function and again had to park in a dark carpark outside farmers, walk over 300m down a dark alley to access the hotel. I would not want any of my female collages to be in this situation. Parking is limited and was full. Also you had to re pay and display at 8am so no lie in if that was your plan!"
