"This is an older hotel with the rooms being dated but clean. We have stayed here multiple times and would definitely come back. Great location. Friendly staff."

"Our room was on the 3rd floor and we were not told there was not an elevator. The sheets and blankets had holes. One cake of soap was provided. It was the size of a quarter and was for 2 people for 2 days. The mattress was very uncomfortable with a dip in the center. The furniture was very worn with torn chairs. The hotel does have a good location."

"The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean enough. but the floor was dusty. I still don't get why Americans wear shoes in the room. There was also an already drunk water bottle in the fridge. The price was great for the room. We got a room in the courtyard, not the one near the ocean. The TV screen was big. The room in general was well equipped and maintained. The AC was new. The ice machine was in a walking distance."

"The impressive thing that I noticed was that I didn't see any ants or roaches in the room, unlike other hotels that I've stayed in at the coast!"

"The facilities were nice but the problem is there is not a local person if an issue arise. We had two separate issues with the fire alarm overnight the first took an hour and 25 minutes for the fire department to respond and resolve. Only for the smoke alarms to back off two hours later. Come to find out out that they have had issues with the system for weeks. I understand things happen but no one locally to help and twice in one night is ridiculous"

"Our 2nd floor room was beachfront. The Nags Head Outlet was within walking distance as well as a huge "beach" store. The Sea Foam is an older historical motel that was recently sold. Yes, it is in need of repair and updating, however, it was clean, the beds were comfortable, and decent water pressure. It fit our needs. Word is that the new owners have big plans."

"Our room had pretty textured walls and beautiful artwork. The furnishings were also high quality. Its a 3 minute walk to the beach, and within a few minutes drive of a mini-mart, ice cream place, and some restaurants. I couldn't figure out when checkout time was, but another guest told me 11am. Also the doors have # codes on them so you can check in without seeing anyone. But the insides of the doors don't have slide locks, so we were worried about someone being able to enter if they found out...
