"Bedroom was very spacious ("huge") and all the basics were there. The finishings in the bathroom seemed a bit tatty, and - it seems petty - but there were three different colours on the lightbulbs around the room, so not really coherently maintained. Would still stay again, though. Breakfast was great, if poorly stocked up."

"What a great hotel! The whole staff team were fantastic- everyone was super friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel is also particularly good for visitors with access needs - we stayed in an accessible room which was huge, the location is close to the train station & the bus station (for the sight seeing bus) as well as lots of restaurants and bars. We'd definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone coming up to Inverness."

I might be extra sensitive, but my nose stuffed and I had throat irritation through the evening. We were so tired when arriving I didnt say anything to staff about it, but some good air fresheners and a thorough fumigating of the curtains seems in order. "Rocpool Reserve is a beautiful boutique hotel in a great location. We stayed in one of the suites with a private hot tub and sauna, and the room itself was spacious with a very nice bathroom. The staff are helpful and attentive, but the premises are tired and jaded. Our room at the front was incredibly noisy, making sleep difficult and with windows shut far too hot. An expensive privelige room had only two plug points at the opposite side of the room to the bed. Torn carpets and worn furniture hardly represented top room...

Room stifling, no air conditioning, No refrigerator, no telephone to contact reception, room was in annexe so had to go downstairs and through carpark to reception to complain, told that swimming pool unavailable due to kids swimming lessons, tv didnt work for 2 days of stay due to pixelation , extract fan in bathroom didn’t work, mirror light above mirror in bathroom didn’t work. Food was good. £439 for two nights way overpriced for quality of the hotel."
