I enjoyed my stay! There was a strange whining sound in the bathroom when you turned on the light, but after a few minutes it stopped. The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly!

I usually like La Quinta for it's quality. However, the one in Kingsville, Tx is showing it's age. Many of the floor tiles in common areas are cracked. Lots of rust on metal vents. The room had a musty smell. The shower leaked all over the bathroom floor. The window had mildew above the AC. Staff was professional. Breakfast was excellent. However, if you are expecting the standard that La Quinta provides you will be disappointed with this hotel. We brought up the issues with the staff and they said they would look into it. However, I suspect it will take a full hotel overhaul before it gets back to the standard I am familiar with.
