"Had a great stay atvyhe Hurtwood. Found it by chance. Great village with plenty of walking direct in to the Surrey Hills as directed by the lovely lady who checked us in. Room very comfortable with fresh milk provided. We found the car park easy for a big car, but would not be so easy in season I think. Dinner in the bar was excellent and good portions. Breakfast cooked to order also great. Will go again. Thank you."

"Easy check in, spacious rooms with tv in bedroom and lounge, lovely large bathroom with deep bath and walk in shower. Great location however, be mindful that the road is closed as a pedestrian walkway from 0900 but this isn’t a problem as there are parking facilities close by and for me as a blue badge holder there were plenty of spaces close enough. Would recommend this hotel to friends and family. "

"Everything is excellent! The room is beautifully equipped, with superbly comfortable bed, brilliant shower, decent size bath and good Wi-fi. All staff in the pub were friendly and served us with good humour at breakfast, lunch or dinner. Food was brilliant (we ate there every night). Location was just what we were after, small village with no shops, but easy driving distance from larger centres. Plenty of walking trails nearby. Highly recommended."

"I just can't say enough nice things about this place. Absolutely immaculate room, SUCH a comfortable bed - I know that can be subjective, but both of us had our best night's sleep in the UK here. Well appointed and spotless bathroom. The property itself is interesting and lovely, easy parking, beautiful outdoor patio, and our room had a private gazebo where we could relax and enjoy some tea or wine.
