"I think the price is too high for what we got. There was no temperature control in the room and it too warm for comfort. The property is well kept but the building exteriors are a little dated. Pool space was inaccessible unless you have their app. Overall the stay was okay, it was clean, the beds were comfortable, way too warm in the room and just felt pricey for what was offered to us."

"Stayed here for 1 night on the way home from a trip to the outer Hebrides. Check in was quick. We had a nice room on the first floor but decor was a bit dated. The room was clean and bed was comfortable though. I used the pool - very nice sized pool but it was unbelievably hot in the swimming pool area. Staff were helpful & friendly. I would deffo return."

"The Allan Park Hotel was wonderful. Parking is convenient and in the back of the property. The location is excellent for site seeing. We went for a walk in the evening and found quite a few shops and restaurants (though they were closed since we were out late). Our room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the hotel restaurant for dinner and breakfast and the food was lovely. I have a shellfish allergy and they were able to accommodate. "Mostly very clean. Some cobwebs. Some marks here and there. Beds are hard so hips and back were sore in the morning. Smart TV wouldn’t connect to internet and being a hotel tv I couldn’t access settings despite reception saying I could. It’s a basic building. Bottom of shower riser was away from the wall. Towels were nice. No decoration in the room. Window blinds allow a lot of light leakage. Could hear the noisy neighbours like they were in our room. Go with food in your belly, just a vending...

"Lovely hotel short walk into town centre perfect base. Staff were brilliant friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good but often had to ask for things to be replenished. Would stay again."

"No WiFi, and no answer to the reception phone for over an hour. When I went to reception to advise them no WiFi they were not bothered and said the hotel was busy so probably too many people using it at the same time!!!! Also we had a screaming kid in the room next to us on and off for 3 hours and again reception refused to help"
