"We loved our two nights stay at Melfort House. It was peaceful idyll that restored us somewhat as we were nearing the end of our road trip through Scotland. Matthew is a wonderful host, and we felt welcome in his home. The breakfast offerings were top notch, and our room and bed were so comfortable. The location was perfect for a day trip to nearby Oban, which should not be missed, particularly for the seafood and Oban Distillery tour. They made us sandwiches and we're so kind. The location is wonderful and the property grounds are nice. Excellent breakfast. The continental was very well stocked and the menu items were delicious."

We had a room with a balcony and the views are out of this world. The boat trip on Ross Ryan’s boat The Sgarbh was incredible. We saw seals and Sea Eagles and sailed around the islands.
