"I loved having the indoor pool, since it was cold that day. The breakfast was great. The room was clean and the staff was friendly."

"Our room was located right next to employee entrance, a heady door, that was open and closed all the time, slamming shut in all hours, 2 am of 6 am, 7 am as they were taking their breaks, leaving or coming… kept waking us up every night. During the day employees park their cars in visitors spots, so that takes up a lot of space, especially where their entrance is… so right where we were staying. Also the room had to sheer curtains, so unless you want to keep your room like a dungeon all day… everybody who talks by, again traffic is heavy in that spot with employees, looks into your room, so that was not cool either. First day, after we arrived, the cleaning service arrived before 9 am to clean room, little too early after long trip. True, we didn’t use do not disturb tag, but we also didn’t know they were providing this service… hardly anyone does these days… the lady was very nice, but didn’t speak any English and we had hard time communicating to her to leave us some fresh towels and a few garbage bags to charge our trash can. Front desk people were very sweet and attentive. The whole property was kept up, older, but nice and clean. The location is definitely the biggest thing, which is great, right in the middle of everything and on water!"

"The phone randomly rang multiple times throughout the night. Rooms require general maintenance (locks, door seals, shower heads, etc). Pool was closed with no notice when booking."

"I’ve stayed there one other time, the first time was better than the first. The room was clean, the air conditioner didn’t work the best. The heated pool was great with us being able to enjoy the pool on cold days when the water at the beach was cold. We never got new towels or trash taken out of the bags replaced. "

"I was a bit disappointed with my room this year. There was a dead bug in a dresser drawer, the couch had a dirty spot where someone's head stained it, the carpet was scruffy and the curtains were old and stained. room service was non existent and when I called, I was hung up on three times, didn't get to actually place an order, and while the coffee was eventually delivered to my room, it was with a side of snark. I only asked for what was advertised on the magnet on my room fridge! Housekeeping was non existent I asked and they never showed up, and when they did, they didn't wipe down the bathroom, coffee area was filthy and not restocked and counter was sticky. A piece of old pizza was left in the microwave! Awful, also no trash bags or toilet paper. The coffee bar in the lobby was empty often and the outdoor seating area was under construction, which was not made know in advance and one reason I wanted to stay there. I've had a $20 credit for the Bistro b4 but that wasn't the case this time, I have stayed before and I truly love the beach access. It is much easier than some other hotels that have higher dunes to travel up it. It's in a great location and the view is amazing but for the price I paid for 6 days I shouldn't have to clean and constantly ask for coffee refills! Also pool was locked before 10 pm and our card didn't work. My teen asked a guest to open it and he was a jerk, didn't want to open the door, even though he saw the key then talked about us openly!!"

"Breakfast was good, staff are wonderful. Loved our view. Exterior of building could use some work but the rooms were nice. Bathrooms are small. Would definitely recommend. We would love to stay again. "
