"Great location and setting. Reception staff very nice and helpful, a nice touch with a warm cookie. Comfortable bed. Good gym and spa facilities. Bar and breakfast staff were slow and unhelpful. Had to wait a very long time for our drinks after having to go back to the bar twice. It wasnt even busy. A very special thanks to Phil from the maintenance team, who had to step in and sort out the breakfast service. Overall a pleasant stay. "

"Amazing stay! The hotel is fantastic in the countryside with a great walk around with great views. The room was modern and decorated beautifully to match the building architecture. The pub has a great vibe and the restaurant food was delicious (just note no dogs in the main restaurant) and service is great. Our room was quite warm which meant not getting 100% and as it’s a pub it can be noisy in the evenings/night. "

"Problems nationwide with computers meant a long wait for a room allocation. Staff dealt with this situation in a friendly and helpful manner and found a resolution as computers remained off all evening. Lovely room, food really good and staff very helpful at all times. "The staff, brilliant. The two reception woman we met and the breakfast woman were absolutely wonderful. The double room had virtually no standing room but a huge very comfortable bed and nice big ensuite shower. We had done over 25k steps that day so just opening the door and collapsing on the bed was fine. But not for everyone if you're staying more than a night. Little room for luggage, you would struggle.
