"Woodhill House is a charming old manor house in a lovely little town. The room was spacious and clean and the area was very quiet. Breakfast was delicious, though they only start serving at 8:30am so plan accordingly. John was a very welcoming host and made sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend Woodhill House if you are in the Ardara area."

"I was extremely disappointed with this hotel. While it is correctly located in the heart of Donegal Town, very little else matched the description. It is advertised as an “award-winning” guesthouse, which was difficult to understand given the overall experience. The rooms were neither bright nor airy, but small, tired, and carried a strong smell of stale grease and dirt. The walls were so thin that we could clearly hear neighbouring guests talking, snoring, and using the bathroom. The staff were...

"Lovely breakfast and wonderfully happy and friendly staff, Effie is amazing. She gave ideas of where to eat and sightsee. Our flights were cancelled the night before so our drive in was hurried and we appreciated getting our room early. Definitely would stay here again! "

"Our stay was excellent in every way! The room was spacious and clean, the shower was very good with excellent temperature and pressure. The food was crazy good, the fish tacos were incredibly flavourful as was all the food. The hotel location was right for us being central to some nice hikes and scenery."

"It was all good- with micro and mini fridge would be a good place for people making base to explore the region. We got charged extra $20 for something after our stay- not sure what that was for. Only complaint really. "

"Amazing hotel, we come to the Mill Park twice a year and abs love it. We got married at the Mill Park and love coming back.The food in Chapter 20 is the best we ever tasted & the breakfast is superb also. Staff are waiting on your every need, lifting dishes and cleaning. We just love it there. "

"Beautiful cottage, we were here during Darragh but it was warm and comfortable . Only thing I would say is if you don’t know how to light a peat fire research it , lol we had Donagle family to show us the way. But it was wonderful staying here, you can’t go wrong especially if you have a large group with all the bedrooms. I would definitely stay here again "
