Thank you, Jacquelyn, for your attempt to write a fair review of your stay with us at The Inn on Fleming, and we regret your experience did not live up to your expectations. The grounds and house are always in a state of improvement as this is an historic home, but "badly in need" is simply an exaggeration. Leaves around a pool is simply a fact of life and we clean and sweep daily, as we do in our rooms. I am unable to address an issue I don't know about and was never informed of a lapse in cleaning, which can happen as we are only human, and I would have sent housekeepers in to deep clean. If you in fact bruised yourself on a bathroom shelf; I should have been informed immediately, and could have simply removed it for you. Again, I can't fix what I am not told about. As for the coffee; we offer both milk and half and half, in addition to the flavored creamer. All in all, we do our best to make guests feel at home, and most of our guest are grateful for that and for a good time staying with us. We hope you can return to Key West again soon! :-)
