"Warm welcome"

"We booked for a long weekend in December and had a lovely break. The staff couldn’t be more helpful, from welcoming us at reception to chatting at breakfast. The hotel is beautiful, and our room was immaculate. We had dinner at the hotel and thoroughly enjoyed the food, not to mention the attentive service. The hotel grounds are outstanding , with the River Tay running through. We will be back. "

"Every time we come back to the Royal, it never ceases to disappoint. The staff are the people who make this such a special and charming hotel. The warmest of welcomes and we were so well taken care of. Attentive and polite customer services, similar to that of Ashford Castle, that seems to be lost in many establishments these days. The only complaint we had, was that the bedroom was cold even with the small radiator up to its maximum temperature, and the fires had not been lit in the bar area...

"What a wonderful overnight stay we had at Port Na Craig. A gem of a restaurant (tried and tested before) in the most stunning location. Staff were excellent, so helpful. Food was delicious as always. It was our first time staying overnight there and the cottage was like a home from home. Cosy and welcoming on a rainy night. Great choices for the delicious breakfast and lovely meeting Angela, the lovely owner. Will be back as soon as we can. "
